"Looking at peoples pictures alot of them are showing bare back sex. Is this common nature as thought safe sex was the way to go"
Its hilarious because when you say you don't play with barebackers they say they don't do it but they clearly are advertising it.
The reality is 90% are stolen photos and the sad fuckers claim its an ex which it isn't. |

I don't know where you get that figure from, you are pretty much calling 90% of bareback photos stolen.
We have bareback photos of ourselves having sex on this profile and both our single profiles. They are of us both together and definitely not stolen. |

9/10 people messaging with them have been so far that even with simple mathematics skills equate to 90%. There are so many sad fuckers on here who aren't genuine its sad really. |

We have some up on friends pics, but every bareback pic of us is US, Louise and Dave, and we've been together for over 15 years and have both been regularly tested, since we've been swinging at least. Bareback pics, especially on a couple's profile, doesn't necessarily mean they've been doing that or will do that with anyone else. |

I would agree that every picture people have of bareback on their profiles is usually with their partner , although lots of men like to ask for bareback I will say...... I just tell them that’s not me....
Safe is the way forward unless you would like something nasty... each to their own though if they want to do it let them , just don’t be a part of it and move onto the next person..... |

I agree with you and the real 10% the chances of meeting them is probably only 1% so odds are stacked against us. |

With the rise of PrEP offered for free on the NHS (Pre Exposure Prophylaxis - an antiviral pill which effectively prevents HIV infection), and immunisation (injections) against Hepatitis A and B and HPV/Warts, more people are barebacking than ever.
I had a conversation about this with a sexual health nurse. Apparently when the scheme was first introduced about 2 years ago, there was an initial increase in STIs, but then this decreased to lower than before. They think that this is because to receive PrEP, users have to have a full sexual health screen every 3 months, so most infections are getting caught early before they can spread amongst the most promiscuous people. Also, thanks to PrEP, new HIV diagnoses are down 38%, which is a huge reduction. This effect will likely increase as PrEP is expanded across the NHS to groups more at risk.
Of course, even with PrEP the advice is to use a condom as it doesn't protect you against Syphilis, Gonorrhea or Chlamydia. Luckily these are treated with a single course of antibiotics. It offers some protection against Herpes - about a 30% reduction in chances of catching, though I wouldn't bank on that - remember Herpes is for life. |

There was some sort of super gonorrhoea (i think) going round leeds a couple of years ago though. Supposedly resistant to everything. |

Unless you're on a couples profile i don't want to see pictures of you with another bb or not. Op make it clear what you want but don't necessarily judge by photos many reasons why and asking gives you insight rather than assuming |

Yes I asked about that. Apparently it comes from tourists in Portugal. Its not resistant to everything. You just need to stay in hospital for iv med. |

Just because you cant see a condom doesnt always mean there isnt one. I hate seeing condoms in photos so always try to use photos where it cant be seen.
If that makes people think everyone I meet is bareback then I honestly couldnt care less |

Even more naive is thinking because you see a condom they’ve never had, or don’t have, bare sex.
People who only meet people with condom only pics and thinking they are ‘safe’ are living in a world of delusion
All you can do is do what you want to feel comfortable with your chosen level of risk, taking into account the only safe sex is no sex, relying on pictures on profiles has no basis in reality |

Why are you looking at TV/CD profiles when you have no interest in them ? |

Following strings of verifications, it can be quite a journey and you unveil so much |

"I do owo but have safe sex ,it puts me off when guys send me pics of them having unprotected sex so i dont bother to reply ..
Isn’t oral as risky as bareback in catching a disease? "
No, it isn't. And risks associated with unprotected sex range from a 40% transmission rate for chlamydia to 0.04% for HIV. |

I hate posts likes yours because you make it sound like barebacking with someone has a 40% chance of getting chlamydia. When it is nowhere near that number.
I am in Scotland so I will use figures generated in Scotland 2014/2015
Lets say there is approximately 2 million adult men in Scotland. Roughly 6000 cases of chlamydia in men were reported in Scotland in 2015
So for me as a female if I had bareback sex with a man I would statistically have a 0.003% chance of meeting someone with Chlamydia and then a 40% chance of actually getting it myself.
This doesnt even take into consideration 68% of those infected were under the age of 25 and I dont meet men that young. And I imagine the central belt of Scotland has a higher risk than where I live.
So its all very good sprouting off percentages you found from google but actually working out the information can show something completely different.
PS my maths actually sucks so I could be a little wrong but my point still stands that the chances of getting an STD through bareback sex if you are careful with who you play with is not even close to what many people on here seem to think.

Alright, I should have said at the outset that those are the transmission rates not taking into account the probability of having unprotected sex with a person with the disease. I was actually trying to make the same point as you - i.e people think the diseases are far easier to catch than they actually are. |
