Hello Fabbers,

I'm relatively new here and curious to know what is it with the very high proportion of one liner introductions and replies here?

I believe before meeting it's very important to have a level of communication connection to see if we click. Don't get me wrong, every once in awhile a one liner as an ice breaker, can be just the way to go. But when I write a few paragraphs about myself, trying to see if that spark is there, and all I get is one liner after one liner, the spark very quickly fizzes out!

I look forward to hearing your thoughts on this

Have a Fab Friday!

It's the internet, people make as little effort as they can.

Plus a lot of guys get ignored (coz there's so many of them) so i don't blame the few who give up trying eventually.

The last two or three guys that Niki has liked the look of have been monosyllabic, we quite quickly stop communicating with them - then they are surprised when two weeks later we don't want to meet them 'this evening' or 'tomorrow'

But there are some that are great at communication - you just have to be patient and wait for them to appear.

Good luck, K.

As a couple we get it from other couples, it makes it really hard work.

In reply to the guys short responses to your messages back, I don’t get that it is because of constant knock backs, that’s usually to the first message they send, if they get a response, that’s the time to put in a little effort. I’m not the most talkative person but do try and put in some effort if I am replying to a message.

If they are making it hard work for you, move on. There are a LOT of men who will put in the effort and make a decent conversation.

If you haven't got the intelligence to come up with an intro, then why should I give you it for free?

You can of course bid LOL!

We have been having a lot of this lately too, it's frustrating. You get what you put in. If you struggle to communicate on here what will it be like if you met for us you have to get on and have easy flowing chat xx
