This is my first post on forums and was curious to know when your mailing someone who has different user name to profile name which name do you use to address them with? For example my username is 69Maxfun69 and in profile name is Max.
I hope this is not daft question and I won't get laughed at.  |

my user name is '_he ring wraith' my real name is Paul, if someone messages me I prefer Paul as that is actually my name.
In chat people tend to call me 'ring. or 'wraith' rather than my real name which is fine, but a private and personal message is better to 'Paul'.
Well that's my view others may differ. |

Their name in their profile is fine. I always get called Holly, never Snow White

Thank you all for comments so I take it there is no right or wrong answer or certain etiquette in which name you use username or profile name.
