Any advice on best products for getting a really smooth shave down below, at the moment it is leaving me with some small red shaving spots , not a good look when we are having a play

Thanks in advance ladies

Have a hot bath prior to shaving. It will soften the hair follicles.

Use a shaving balm or gel, will lessen the friction on the skin.

Use a men's razor, they're sharper.

Shave with the growth, not against, less chance of ingrown hairs.

Splash on some cold water afterwards and apply an oil or moisturiser. Coconut oil is fab

Cheshire, Windermere ,Cumbria

Hot bath, exfoliate the day before, men’s no.7 gel works well and a sharp razor then a blast with cold water afterwards followed by a slather in moisturiser an hour later

Just trim instead , it safer and healthier

Or take the painkillers, grit your teeth and wax it off

Apply normal hair conditioner but use a shaving brush as this stimulates the hair folicals and lifts the hair , shave as normal then apply again for a final super close shave ,

I picked this advice up off here ages ago I now use conditioner for my facial shaving aswell, much better than any gel or foam ,

Safer, perhaps, because of the blade, yes.

Healthier though? Nah, if you're careful and hygienic, shaving is perfectly healthy.

Invest in a Braun Naked Skin IPL (or similar) they're fantastic!

Tweezer it as far in as you dare go! Eventually the hairs grow back so thin or stop growing completely. Longer than waxing but not half as painful.
