Message read and not deleted

"Ladies.. Is this a good sign or a bad sign?"
Not sure what your asking, I read messages then delete probably every two weeks all read messages, however not always right away so its no real indication of I like or dislike, generally if I don't reply its because the guy had ignored my profile if the send cock pictures its delete immediately  |

...and NOT deleted.
Means there's possibly some hope but as the days go by it's less likely as each day her inbox has been refilled and you're now at the bottom of the list of read but not deleted messages.
I give 3 days as a general rule. Then it's no interest and block n move on. |

My bad I read it as "read and deleted"
In that case I'd try and look at it with an open mind and just leave it at that... If they reply at a later date then bonus, if not nothing lost. |

I often read but don’t reply until I’ve spoken to my husband or aren't ready to meet yet but want to keep you in my radar (previously I’d reply to people I was interested & say I’ll be in touch soon but i soon found out that means they’ll message me every day which ultimately makes me lose interest) |

As touched up on mate! Key is not to dwell on it and or take it personal.
Just think about how many messages women get daily? Even to answer no thanks to every message it would consume their day and this is about fun, not being a chore.
You have to really take yourself out of your own thoughts and interpretations and really try to think of theirs with pure volume of messages per day. |

I may leave a message to come back to, but my messages only stream so much then it's gone. If I've not deleted/blocked you, it's worth picking up with me again with a polite message at some point in the future - it was probably just bad timing |

For me if a message is read but not deleted it’s a good sign as they maybe considering me.If however the message is read but not deleted after say 3 days and the lady or couple have been logged in during that time and not responded to my message then it’s a bad sign.I delete and move on |

My general rules are:
blocked = not interested
A reply to say they aren't interested = not interested
Anything other than those kind of emphatic and unambiguous responses should be interpreted as the following:
"At the precise moment they opened your message, they decided not to take things further"
While disappointing now, the upside is that you are free to message them again after an appropriate length of time has passed.
That might be an unpopular opinion with a few on these forums, but in my not inconsiderable experience of this swinging malarkey, it is a cold hard fact.
I have lost count of the number of times that a speculative wink or message sent 2 or 3 months after the initial failed contact has yielded a positive result.
Often times the person I had comtacted had no recollection of my first message.
Other times they remembered it but had so many conversations on the go and so many meets they were trying to fit into their diary that they didn't want to waste my time or theirs chatting about a meet that was likely to be a long way off in the future.
I once even had a couple who had blocked me within seconds of my first message, approach me at a social asking who I was, remarking that I never seemed to come up in their searches. (oh how we laughed when we discovered the reason)
Caveats.
Be patient - minimum and I mean MINIMUM 6 weeks before trying to re-establish contact.
Be selective - save it for those people who you genuinely feel like you would have had a connection with |

Sometimes I'm waiting for a bus, or drifting off to sleep, or sorta busy but had a quick look. My intention is to reply later but often later the message is at the bottom of my inbox, so I forget it. Or more likely its my age and I simply forget I was going to reply xx |

Just delete messages after you have sent them, if you get a message back it will have your draft.
Can’t imagine why someone would be hanging on when there is so many lovely ladies on here.

It's something I do personally that I delete every sent message. You've done your bit by saying hi and it's out of your hands.
Saves a knock to your confidence if and when they're deleted. It isn't important...
The only thing that is would be the replies

For me it means the message is polite and worthy of a response but I don’t have time to reply. Depending on message numbers and my available time I may reply I may delete.

"If a message is interesting, and the guy looks good, then I'll answer straight away. If not, then I block, and have a weekly clear out of my messages."

Yeah that’s what I do. Well sometimes I forgot to attach pictures so send a second one with the tittle forgot pics sorry, so they know I’m not pestering just simply adding what they wanted. |
