The best cock ring is one that works for you! There are straps that do up with press studs (normally adjustable), silicone and rubber (often stretchy), and then metal (aluminium/steel - definitely NOT stretchy).
Some metal ones have removable sections (magnetic or some sort of clip or Allen screw holding sections together).
Also, metal ones can be pretty much as heavy as you like, different depths and widths - some are "glans rings" that go around the head or shaft.
You can use rings around your cock and balls, balls only (ball stretchers) or just the shaft, or a mix. There are versions that split the balls apart as well.
So - think abut what feeling you want and work from there. Don't wear one for long to start, and if you wear overnight consider the effects of morning glory.
Be careful with metal ones, size is important in that when one is enjoying oneself they can become very tight, enough to mean you have to calm down and get it off. Be prepared to start with a larger one and work down (hence care overnight). Typical advice is to wear for short times only.
Metal ones come in different profiles - often somewhat square sided or "donut" shaped. The square sided ones can dig in a little, the donut have a curved profile that does not.
For me, I like metal ones. I have a number in various sizes/profiles, current favorites are donut in either 13mm wide or 18mm wide. I started with 50mm internal diameter, and have found I like them a little smaller, say 48 or 47mm (helps stop my balls turtling - but not entirely), I can wear this size overnight without discomfort. This diameter is rather less common, but the difference between 50 and 45mm is huge. I do have a 42mm one, but that has a magnetic section so I can be sure I can get it off when I need to (it pops open of itself, sadly a little too easily - am looking for a reasonable 45mm version).
As I write this I am wearing the 47/48mm diameter 18mm wide donut one (and have been 24 hours for weeks - but I have been wearing them for years), plus for today 3 additional glans rings because, well, why not?  |
