Can you only search members who are online or have been recently online ?

No, search results show all members within your parameters.

And you can't stop the search engine returning members who haven't been on line for years. There are literally thousands of them. A complete waste of time.

But if someone interests you, check their profile and it says when they were last online.

It shows up in search results anyway. Search hits are ordered by most recently on line.

At least that's how it seems to work here.

Sure you can click on online now for couples single men and women and so on in the browse section.

Weird.... Search results in Ireland only show people who have recently been online. Members who haven't logged on in a couple of months don't appear in searches or even in name searches, even if their profiles are still public.

It does show them in order of last online though.

It confuses me when I look at search results and it says I was last online (for eg) 10 minutes ago.

And if I close/reopen the site all the times change. But not always, only sometimes.

Also OP if someone blocks you then they won’t show up in a search or on the updates page.
