"I'm on 3 too and no end of 'Server not available' messages coming up the last week!"
I had this off and on last week, think it was issues they had in some areas, as in some places it worked, some it didn't.
Three, like the other networks are still expanding and so some disruption of all services will happen now and again, including back end disruption.

3 mobile is the best for Internet on phones. If you have network coverage you have 3G Internet. On other networks you might have signal but 0 Internet. My signal is usually really good I'm in the midlands and work all over |

"3 is officially the worst network i have had.
i had a mobile phone on 3, and about 70% of the time could not get signal! "
IMO 'three' isnt as good as the other networks for voice coverage and handovers as you driving/moving but their data coverage and speeds are far better than other networks, although the others are catching up in that dept.
They are also stopping their roaming agreement with Orange in areas where they think they have their own coverage. This has effected a lot of folks in the last 18 months.
I use a three phone but primarily for data as a wireless hotspot, other than the adult content filters now and again, cant say as ive had any bother with coverage for data and I work all over the UK.

"Use the opera browser. Works fine with 3
"
I'm currently on VF but will be changing soon to either 3 or Tesco(O2).
I was advised to download both Opera Mini and Opera Mobile, Mini works great when using 3G/2G but I use Mobile when I'm on wi-fi.
My concern with 3 is that they are now purely 3G, their arrangement with Orange 2G is no more, so no 3G means no signal means no phone!! |
