We are currently in Turkey and using fab as normal, except that every time we log in we have to enter our username and password as usual, then also a code. We are hoping that it's only because we aren't in the UK. It's getting so annoying now that we are just staying logged in.

I would check the specific laws regarding legal internet content for that specific country. You maybe able to access fab But it's use may be illegal and land you in hot water.
