We are newbies to the scene and were wondering how it works with hotels, do you brazenly book rooms for 3/4 adults or do you book as a couple and sneak past the reception with your guests or do both parties book different rooms? ![](/icons/s/eek.gif) |

It's probably good to book rooms so you can retire to your own space afterwards ?
Don't sneak anywhere it makes you look guilty as hell
There's very little that hotel reception haven't seen before![](/icons/s/wink.gif) |

"I’ve never had issues walking in. Just stroll in like you own the place and it’s not suspicious. "
Doesn’t always work. I’ve been stopped twice and questioned about surnames and car registrations. I insist on being met in the lobby now. |

Not necessarily. I got stopped from going back to a couples hotel room in a city centre hotel. |

Possibly, and an inability to find my way round anywhere, which doesn’t help. |

We imagine the hotel staff have seen it all and are probably told about during there training...still must be nervous doing it the first time...confidence needed most definitely. |

If you've paid for a room you can do what you want in it, within reason, as long as it's legal and not causing a nuisance to other guests.
I've never had a problem with day use hotels. Ive had cleaning staff walk in when it's been blatantly obvious that the room is in use in ordinary hotels but otherwise no issues. |

I like to arrive first to book in and get a feel for who's on reception and the layout. If I think they're the jobsworth type I'll casually say my sister or friend will be getting ready with us or dropping stuff off to me x |

Hotels usually couldn't care less.
Book in then meet folk in the bar have a drink then stroll by.
You could be going to change or pick up something they don't care lol ![](/icons/s/mrgreen.gif) |

'Legal Reasons' also covers rooms being used for multiple occupancy over and above the number allowed. We have had issues with some (only some) city centre hotels popping security blokes on after 11am complete with clipboard, room number, booking name and number per room....if you try to bring others up its not happening. But that is a rare occupancy. Generally like all posters have said, check out the layout, be confident and not too obvious, and it should be fine.

I see you are listed as Truro. If you are thinking of using a chain such as Premier Inn at Carnon Downs or A30 at Fraddon then you will be OK. As long as your guests are not staying in the room overnight then they are just visiting and the hotel does not need details. You need a door key to get out of reception and into the corridors so best to meet in the bar area then all walk back to the room together. If you are thinking of one of the smaller independents in town such as Manning's or Merchant House then I suspect it will be much harder to get away with it. |

"I use village hotels. They tend to be relaxed. "
I will 2nd village hotel chain. I have found there hotels the most relaxed because the reception areas are very large and relaxed so no problems having guests coming and going.
I have had lots of meets in hotels and tend to avoid late night meets in city centres as they usually do not allow anyone in without a keycard or who is staying there. Some also have door security after 10/11pm if its a larger city centre. |

Just book one room and go up in pairs. Don't all walk up together. Even if they suspect something only about 1 in 20 would ask. And then you just reply like I did one day we did a group event which was "yes I will be going upstairs and fucking 4 or 5 guys and then they'll be leaving, is that a problem" he just went bright red and apologised. ![](/icons/s/redface.gif) |

We've been meeting hotels for years. We've done couple meets, single guy meets and gangbangs. We've never had any problems at all.
Unless the hotel requires key card entry you just tell your guests the room number and tell them to come up. If it does require a key card one of you goes down and collects the guests from reception.
Frankly as long as you pay, don't annoy other guests and don't damage anything no one gives a fuck. |

I agree, as I've never had any issues using hotels, either day use, 'early check-in', or evenings. Just act natural, be chatty with staff and you'll be fine ![](/icons/thumb_up.png) |

Never had a problem with hotels but the out of town ones are definitely easier. City centre ones tend to have less of an open feel to their foyers which causes more questions to be asked.
Generally speaking it's always worth meeting in the hotel bar if you can as noone really asks questions of a couple of people pairing off from the bar. May be worth going up in pairs and/or sending the odd one out up solo.
Mind you the last one we were at I just walked right past the hotel reception desk with my thoroughly shagged playmates under each arm. He knew. |
