Hi fellow forum users ,just wondered if anyone else has got to 50 and found the meets have dried up . This, by the way is not a whinge in any way as have had a fair few meets in the past few years from the same profile and picture which I send with message . My messages are always polite,and it may well be just the sheer number of men on here now . |

I'm 51, overweight and an acquired taste. I've had to hide my profile as I don't have enough time to meet my regulars let alone new people, so no...don't agree. |

My beloved is 69 and although not on this site hes on a very similar site. he doesnt get unindated for meets but he has three or four a year and thats his choice he could meet more. He only meets bi guys and couples and the cheeky bugger doesnt meet anyone over 50 lol, so there is still hope for you yet |

Mrshields is over 50 and was a very successful male on his singles profile. It's less than a year since we became a couple and I'm a lot younger than him but he was out of my original age range but we got to know each other in the chatroom and then a friend arranged for him to take me to a party - we've barely been apart since and i'm in the process of moving in. So whilst you may not be looking for a permanent partner, the over 50's still rock  |

Thanks for the replies ,I think I knew the ladies of any age on here would have no trouble getting meets due to the volume of men ,but its a patience game I suppose for the many on here,but just dont want to go down the road of mailing anyone and everyone . |

me and my zimmer frame get on ok , but must admit when using the advanced search so stating my age i do get alot less people ,
i think its the age of peoples likes that reduce the amount i view , rather than i'm an old fart

I was 50 when we started here, and were doing ok. We took a year out for family stuff and are just starting back.
It's different for women on here. They'll get meets no matter how old they are. It doesn't even matter what they look like, you've only got to go into chat and look at the ones being called gorgeous 
It's tough for single guys simply because of the numbers on here.

I disagree. Genuine guys stand out. The time wasters actually help in my opinion.
On the age question, I think people are opening up to swinging at a younger age, but there are plenty of us more mature types out there having fun.
To the OP: Try to get some photos on to your profile. You don't have to show your face. My advice is go to the socials and get known. |

I'm not so sure. I'm in exactly the same demograph as you, mid-thiries and reasonably attractive, so on a physically attractive scale (as in mass appeal as one woman's treasure is another woman's trash) we would both have an equal chance. However the wording on your profile is very limited and doesn't fire the synapses in a lady's imagination, whereas the OP has no pics in his public gallery whatsoever, so therefore the interest of "casual browsers" which a lot of meets stem from as ladies or couples sending messages on instant interest.
With regards to swinging getting harder after fifty though, I bloody well hope not, cos I don't fancy jacking it in in 16 years time lol! Though as far as physical attraction goes upon retirement in my very late sixties I'll have 70 hours more a week to fill than I have now, so I'll boot my workout regimine from 6 hours a week max up to about 20 and start getting more than 4 to 5 hours sleep that I get now most nights as well as having the time to cook healthier meals more often. Combine all these and I'll be able to throw the aging process on my body right into reverse! I plan at seventy to have the body of a fifty five year old and have reversed it right back to forty five by my seventy third birthday, screw you Father Time! And Viagra can deal with everything else lol! |

You would be surprised at the amount of messages I get from couples where the guy want to see their wife with an older man  |

I think if some people accepted they'll NEVER appeal to everyone and concentrated on those they do appeal to, the happier and less frustrated they'd be. |

That's only natural Madam. A guy will probably get more ladies wanting to marry him at any age than a woman of similar qualities would get men looking for a wife, whereas women will get more men wanting to fuck them. For a bloke to get hitched is probably as easy for him as it is for a lady to get laid.
Although the "mass appeal" that both sexes enjoy at their peak in these respects can wane, you also start to appeal to niche markets more, such as other older people and younger ones wanting to live out the "sex with older fantasy"... |

"Pulling" on a swing site requires the same attributes, social skills and personality, as it does in the real world, and some people have to realise that they just don't qualify for a free ride |
