Thinking of booking a swingers holiday

After reading the reviews and advice on this forum, we are going to take the plunge and book a holiday to Grand canaria / Maspalomas. We are thinking of getting a vanilla hotel and checking out the beach and clubs in the town. The only thing is we dont know which would be the best area to book in and wanted to know if you had to book into the clubs before hand?

Maspalomas is nice and mainly all low level accomodation i.e bungalow style or one up one down villa style it is a nice area and a little quieter than the main resort next door Playa de Ingles which is only a few minutes away by taxi

Playa de Ingles is more lively and tends to be more hotels than bungalows although these are available here aswell

All the clubs and swingers bars are in PDI and no you don`t need to book them beforehand just show up at the door

Both resorts have there plus points and both are just as handy for the beach/dunes as these stretch between the two resorts

We have stayed in PDI and Maspalomas in vanilla accomadation aswell as La Mirage swingers complex and everywhere we have stayed has been suitable for our needs,we have also stayed in Puerto Rico but this is 20 minutes further away

We suggest using trip advisor and it`s reviews to find suitable vanilla accomodation

Taxis are cheap so don`t get to hung up on distance from beach etc

We are back there in April

Ive stayed at the green oasis quite a few times

Lovely all inclusive vanilla complex

But within walking distance of the beach and swinging side of the beach

Also handy and central for the clubs

Have a great time wish we were going this year but maybe next xx

Be warned, alcohol is very cheap over there.

You can also buy packets of SWING cigarettes, which amused the fuck of me and Peg, leaving them standing on the table at bars and stuff.

Thank-you folkes, for spending the time to reply to us and the full break down of where to be. On second thought we are now thinking Playa del Ingles, due to the better selection of hotels.

Well thats us booked for Maspolomas IN July with another couple friends of ours from on here! Cant wait to sample the delights!! Any recommendations of where to go/avoid most useful, cheers xx
