Hi

I'd love to find out any kinks I might have etc. I tend to go for sensual and erotic stuff rather than BDSM, not really into pain.

Is there a name for this, any groups etc?

I see fetlife as mainly if not all about BDSM, could be wrong but without delving too deeply couldn't see anything.

Wirral

There’s no name as such - just that you like a bit of kink in your play!

It’s light BDSM

FL is good for finding events in your area that might interest you, such as fet events or munches - it ranges in scale from full 24/7 master & slave relationships to kinksters like yourself

BDSM bondage discipline sadism masochism.

You've chosen to rule out the last two.

I can certainly empathise.

But bondage can be sensual and erotic, especially when combined with sensory deprivation e.g. Blindfolded.

The top having freedom to tease and tantalise the bottom who is restrained, not knowing what's coming next, a tickling feather, an ice cube or a tongue. The build-up makes the moment of release greater.

There's also a lot more to the fet site, from clothing and uniforms, to styles of relationship, and many other activities. Its not all whips and chains.

Explore, evolve and enjoy.

Good explanation thank you, sounds great. I think I would like to take turns at being top and bottom by the sound of it.

Sutton

I had a debate with a friend a while ago who sees himself as a sensual dominant. He was complaining there was no information about sensual domination.

My position, as someone who saw himself as a sensual dominant until I saw the dark light is this.

A competent musician can play rock, pop, blues, and fake jazz and funk. The same skills are used in all styles but the approach and feel is different. The same goes with bdsm as Frank Drebin would say it is the question of using an ostrich feather rather than the whole ostrich. Or to use a Spinal Tap comparison not all kink is turned up to 11.

I would also add bdsm is a broad church and it is still bdsm even if it does not include pain

Discipline and submission do not require sex or pain but where's the fun in that! (Only joking purists!)

Good Luck
