Hotel Accomodation... Do I stay or Do I Go?

Hi,

Say I have been invited to a meet with a couple... they have booked a nice hotel for the evening etc.

We plan on having a couple of drinks before hand, to relax and set ground rules, before anything exciting starts.

What is the accepted etiquette for the 'single' guy, would it be usual to also stay over, if so should i offer to split the room?

Any advise would be appreciated.

Ta

I would always try to meet them at least halfway on stuff like that, you're all have fun so why not share the expense?

Mate - ask them! Everybody has different ideas/perceptions, and might even change their mind depending on their mood or the weather or how nice the room is! Talk to them, not us

I like the sound of all night fun, the hotel needs to be near the airport as I am flying first thing!

Oh and I'm not there for the towels I had something else in mind Some new shampoo, and a shower cap would be handy!

anywhere

We always pay and book for the room.We have our fun or not but no one will ever stay over with us.If the guy pays half they seem to think they have the right to stay.

Personally I would have gone to meet them, if you get the chance to go back to their room for some fun, offer something towards the room afterwards. And I doubt you would be able to stay the night. Remember if there is no mutual attraction, you are entitled to say thanks but no thanks just as much as they are, in which case, walk away and don't offer any money towards the room, they paid for it and took the risk, you didn't. Also if they are up your way anyway, why offer them money?

Enjoy either way

yeah ya never stay over with a couple even if they ask and if ya do seperate rooms, that way if you want to play with them again things wont get too weird, and also cuts down on the risk to their relationship if things get confusing,

you shouldnt really stay at a couples in most cases as a single guy, its just for the best.
