How do you write a good profile and actually get to know and meet people on this site?

I don’t know what I’m doing wrong but no one at all seems interested.

It would be nice to make friends and get to know people.

Pretty much all have the same kind of answers.

Effort in equals results.

Little effort... no results.

Your profile is bland, boring, and beige.

You have 1 friend listed, after over a year on the site... one friend? Really?

Get out and about, find local organised social events and go to them, and find a local club and become a regular.

Pick up some veries from the above, and put effort into your profile (a LOT more effort!), and then you may start having some success.

Put your face up, join in on the threads, read them, get to know the personalities and bond with them. Make up some posts of your own.

As for local stuff? Put your personality into your profile and the messages you write. Take care of who you write to and what they want.
