Who do you buy from?
We use lovehoney and a few other sites.
Recently we used uberkinky for a product.
No packaging just in an open plastic bag.
Unsafe and unhealthy, first impressions.
Any other experiences out there?

For avoidance of doubt.
We placed an order.
1 item (a dildo)
Was delivered in an open plastic bag! Inside the delivery box I must add.
Upon sending email and using the ticket system on the website.
The response was return and if its unopened then we will refund.
Duh!
It was opened, in a plastic bag, no packaging, safety instructions etc.
Would you be happy buying toys like that?

IMO it's been something returned that they have re sent out.
I may be wrong and it's just a packaging or picking error.
Point still stands.
Will you use or accept toys in unsealed packaging?

I am suprised as I have used UberKinky a number of times and although some items were in fairly basic packaging each item did have some sort of seal on it.
As to which suppliers I have used the list is to long to remember them all but includes:
LoveHoney
UberKinky
Steal Pleasures

Bondage Corner
I have not had many issues with any of my toy suppliers although it did feel a little uncomfortable paying a fairly large sum to Serious Kit by bank transfer although everything went smoothly in the end. The only other issue which springs to mind is that Sex Machines managed to send me the wrong machine initially but after a short phone call everything was sorted out.

Bondara
Latex, Leather & Lace (our favourite)
Not had any problems like the one mentioned but I am with the OP. Bang out of order and there is no way I would let sub'r' use anything arrived that could have been tampered with. |

As a separate note, we review sex toys (an amazing job) and sometimes receive products with packaging like you have mentioned (open bags). These are products that have been removed from their original packaging in order for the product photos you see on the shop's pages to be taken.
These products are generally not sold but bagged up for reviewers to review for them. The reviewer is informed of this prior to accepting the product for a review though.
It may have been a picking error when a product like this was selected by accident. |

No it wasn't that big.
As above open bag, hopefully a picking error.
I would hate to think they are sending out returned toys, that may have been used.
Each to their own and all that.
But terrible customer service from them.
I would post photos of the box and packaging.
But unfortunately can't on here.

That question is irrelevant.
To the OP, considering it's a service and a product, I wouldn't accept an unsealed product/package in case it was a faulty item that wasn't due to me using it, etc. I would return and speak to customer service to rectify the issue.
