I know perceptions and miscommunication on here and online in general is rife... however what I don't get is why a swinger would put in a complaint about another swinger having sex?!? Maybe I'm being a bit backward here but are we not meant to be able to have sex without judgement or people complaining about it?

Who are they complaining to?
And why? |

So I host/part run shhh
At the weekend a member complained to my business partner that I had sex.
Now i was in a private room and hadn't told anyone i was going to play. So imagine my face to hear that a complaint was put in that I swung in a swingers club. I hadn't even told anyone I had been downstairs or at least not for any purpose.
In any regard see it on here all the time statuses aimed at ppl or comments made in clubs about ppl having sex. Or at least in north east. The amount of times I've heard it in passing is unbelievable |

I'm not sure of the etiquette having never been involved in running an event.
Could it be that their complaint was more around that if running an event you shouldn't participate?
Like I say never run one myself so I've no idea what running an event involves. Is it simply meeting and greeting, or do you need to be on hand throughout the night to resolve issues for party guests?

never understood any jealousy, particularly on a scene like this. I don't even perv my past/present/future meets just to see who they've shagged..I certainly wouldn't message them asking "why not me!!?" |

I can only imagine who ever complained came from a position of jealousy.
There should be absolutely nothing wrong with enjoying your own night!
I guess they are jealous and may have believed you used your position to take advantage in some way. But your right it does happen, I’ve had people I’ve played with complain because I’ve then gone on to play with someone else, it’s pathetic really in all honesty.
I don’t think you did anything wrong AT ALL!!! |

Having a think about this darlo - i can see both sides, and someone who has been to
Numerous club and party nights
If your running a night I suppose the presumption is that you are the host and don’t play and that’s why someone complained. If I was at at a party and i needed to get hold of the host about an issue then I would be a bit meh if that makes sense. If you were the ONLY person running it.
For me people can and should play with who they want and people shouldn’t complain about that. I would never complain and would actively encourage it .
Darlo don’t take it to heart, take it as a learning experience |

What does 'business partner' mean? Were they at the same night as a host?
What exactly did the person complain about? Seems odd to complain about someone having sex. Unless as others have said, the host needs to be available in case of issues. But I'd assume the club staff were there for that anyway.
Was the person jealous you got a shag? |

I hosted a gang bang for a couple and invited 6 guys, 1 young guy didn't fancy the lady in any way whatsoever, he didn't complain, he thanked me for the invite and left.

I host lots of events... business partner SH is as it sounds. He does operations i do marketing. Of an evening we do very similar roles except he doesnt really intermingle with members.
I see ppl in from reception, chat if running any games see to that but just ensure all ok and reinforce club rules esp to newbies. Advise all that any queries etc all staff can answer as well so if I am busy grab someone. I'm there for 8-9 hours so do take a break as being on my feet for that duration gets a bit ouch.
I am 96% of the time on hand or dealing with enquiries, queries etc.
I have no ideas as to why the complaint
I've hosted lots of private parties too.... would it be a complaint if i had sex there? |

If someone is jealous they should look maybe more inward and not lash out. I've attended many an event whereby host has had sex. Kudos to them imo .... it's bloody hectic hosting |

This doesn’t make any sense.....
How does someone know you hadn’t gone to the bathroom or taken a important phone call?
How did they know you were having sex?
To make a complaint.... |

Oh people get pissed off when staff have their dinner break in like Asda cafe. Leave them to it.
Who did they complain to? If you're the joint boss it only matters if your business partner is happy. Everyone needs a break. |

I think the issue is that they believe you should be having sex with them.
It's amazing how many people on here do have jealous tendancies when it comes to swinging it baffles us.

We might be jealous but you'd be more likely to get a quiet nod or a cheeky round of applause as you came out |

People are always finding things to complain about it, just as some people on Twitter are always outraged about something or other. Doesn't make their complaints valid.
If you didn't do anything wrong then don't let it get to you! |

Maybe they thought you were just an 'employee' (sorry) and thought they were grassing you up to your boss. Revenge for you stealing their potential victim.... jealous and spiteful.
Think it's the only reason I would go to a club - The Drama! |

I guess it depends but I do value staff who are there to do their job. Sex can make some people feel vulnerable and a club should be a safe space.
Having sex with other guests could be construed as crossing a line and If I had a complaint to make about that person how do I know you wouldn't be biased? Also integrity is not about what you can get away with but doing what's right when no one is looking. So whilst I wouldn't think it was great, I wouldn't complain about you, especially if I felt everything at the club had run smoothly.
The one thing that really put me off a club was one of the staff getting really d*unk and having a meltdown. I wouldn't return to that place again. |

Sad people complaining you weren’t at there beck and call ALL night and decided to have a little fun
When we hosted our club night generally we would play at some stage, being on our feet from 8 till 3, looking after people, organising etc, we deserved a bit of fun, good on you, there are so many club hosts that don’t swing, because they ain’t swingers and shouldn’t be hosting SWINGING parties!! Hosts that sight the “it’s unprofessional” line, haven’t got a clue, are hiding something or just plain bored with the scene, club nights would be far better if they were run by swingers xx

I am entitled to a break as is everyone else. I've worked pretty much every weekend since it opened 6 months ago and didn't play so to avoid such negativity as was exhibited. I've been a swinger for a long time and i didnt hide anything i just didn't ask for pied piper following. D*unk staff and meltdowns are diff i feel. I tend to play with ppl I've played with outside of club to remove such "oh my god abuse of power"

Of course you are entitled to a break - but that's what it should be, a break away from the club and its business. Just as when I used to work in the airline industry and was wearing their uniform, I could only drink at the airport bars if I wore a non uniform coat over so I couldn't not be identified as an employee - and also I wouldn't want staff asking me questions - and it looks bad potentially being intoxicated and working in a place where I need to keep people safe. It's just professionalism and some places have rules for good reasons. I am not linking the stories about alcohol with you or saying it's better or worse, it's more making a point that if you're there to do a job, that's what you're there for , and you should use your break to rest. Also people don't know that the people you play with at the same club are known to you. |

Your analogy isn't correct. Working for an airline and drinking at a bar, is not the same as running a swingers nigbt and swinging. A more accurate example would be working as a stewardess, serving food etc... and being seen eating.
Just an observation. But I can't see how she did anything wrong. |

No. A hostess is expected to take meal breaks in the galley and others deal with passengers.
In any case like I said the point is that all companies have rules, whether legally or professionally. And there's often a good reason. |

Of course you didn't do anything wrong. It's your event and your break time. If you want to spend that time having a brew or sucking cock is up to you. Only a total arsehole or bitch would complain. Sounds like jealousy kicking in. |

You own the place you can do whatever the hell you want, if they can't enjoy what you have to offer then tell them to move on go somewhere else. Don't let others ruin it. |
