Blocked from sending messages by the site

I was blocked from sending messages by the site, it said it would just be for a couple of hours and then the block would be cleared.

It has now been five hours and I still can't message anyone. Can someone please help me with this?

I have sent them a few messages but it still is blocked and I have not heard anything or know what to do now.

Someone was being vile and abusive and racist so I gave them some shit back.

Obviously I should have just not reacted. I said a word that was not allowed. But it has been five hours now. The block was only meant to be for a couple of hours it says on my profile.

I have contacted them, and contacted the owners but the block is still in place.

I don't know what else to do as I can't message anyone and it is getting ridiculous now after five hours nearly six. I don't know what else to do.

Any ideas anyone?

Be patient whilst the message you get says it should clear in a couple of hours it took longer than that last time for me.

I will wait a bit longer then and see what happens. I thought it was meant to automatically unblock after a couple of hours.
