Hi All,
So I've had this account just over a year and have been inactive for about 11 months.
I've been told the fact I don't have a verification is off-putting considering I've been on here so long. My view is, my life doesn't revolve around Fabbing, I'm not desperate to sleep with someone from here.
However, I do understand that it may be perceived as a red or amber flag.
So, should I delete and start a new account so I don't have such a lengthy no verifications period?
To be honest, I'm opposed to this as it seems kind of deceptive and I like every form of upfrontness but would like some opinions.
Especially if you judge profiles based on verifications / age of profile. |

Hi OP,
I think it’s a good profile, well written, nice pics and you’re photo verified.
If I were you I’d keep it but add a new paragraph at the beginning to explain that you’ve been inactive. If people are interested they’ll accept this.
Good luck |

It wouldn't necessarily make a difference to me. I would notice the length of time and the fact you haven't got a verification but it wouldn't stop me messaging someone you're replying to a message. There are lots of reasons why people don't meet for a while so I wouldn't necessarily judge on that alone. |

Keep it, its your profile, its your Fab life, its no bodies business but yours.
If the issue bothers somebody then its there problem not yours, they could always ask you to explain the inactivity if they were genuinely interested xx |

Personally, I think a profile over a year old is less likely to be fake than a new profile. We do check out verifications to see what people have said about a member, but the pictures and info on a profile are far more of an indication of what the person is like, than veri’s.
Looking at your profile OP, I’d think you were a genuine and open guy, a few veri’s would just be more of a guarantee, so I think it’s pointless to delete and start again, just build on what you already have, get to a few socials or a club and mingle, that’s easiest way to get a few veri’s to begin with. |

Some of us don’t even look to see if a potential meet has been verified, it’s all down to attraction and communication so from my point of view, it wouldn’t bother me in the slightest but I may not be your target audience. |

I would have normally said make a new one. But yours comes across very well indeed.
Just add in a bit to say you have been inactive as posters have said above.
Keep it |

I think I'd take the view that if someone won't meet you *just* because you aren't verified that they weren't a good match and carry on looking for those that will meet you OP.
Is also worth bearing in mind that some people might use that as an easy reason to give, rather than have the awkwardness of having to explain any other reason they might have. So deleting and restarting wouldn't make a difference there. |

This is good question OP. I am in same frame of mind about my profile, like you do I delete my profile and starts over again. As it's over a year on the site with no verifications or is it better to just change name and pictures to see what happens first.
Will watch this thread with interest. Good luck OP |

"Go on cam get verified"
TBH we see cam verifications to be of very little value, all it means is the user exists! we go more by the fact a user takes the effort to get photo verified, posts pics and writes a profile worth bothering to read, which the OP has done |

The thing is, as others have said, it's not all about verifications, but whether the site meets your expectations - deleting your profile and re-posting it as a new one, won't in itself change that if it's not.
You have to ask yourself why it's not meeting your expectations and make changes accordingly to address that. And those changes are all within your power, no-one else's |

It’s a no brainer op , start again .
It’ll take no more than half an hour to be up and running again so why wouldn’t you ?
It’s all very well having people saying it’s your profile , do what you want etc.... but the bottom line is that you are here for meets . If you’re less likely to get meets as you’ve been here over a year with no veri , then starting again is the answer .
And if when you do start again , get out there and meet someone to get verified , even if it’s only a social . It’s realky not that difficult .
We have always been if the opinion thanif someone has been in here over a year with not even a social meet , they can’t be that interested . And if they aren’t , neither are we in meeting them . |

I've met a few men at parties in the past, that were not verified here, that's the beauty of organised socials and some club/parties,they do not judge you for not having verifications
On fab some people are more cautious of meeting unverified, especially if over a year |

Depends on what you want from Fab. Having verifications is not the panacea some think it is. You are a single guy it is not unusual for guys to have years between veris or no veris at all. |

You are right in what you say about your profile yes but others see it as a guy who isn't really committed not really serious about meeting and the first impression people will think is not serious so waste of time putting time into you. Its all about perspective. |

Entirely your choice. I wouldn't add anything to the blurb unless you want to to explain the year but it wouldn't take you long to copy and paste to a new profile either, especially if you have the pictures still handy. No harm done either way.
To answer your status - you've posted this on here and along with those commenting, plenty of others will have had a look too.

Thanks for all the honest thoughts.
I'm going to keep my profile as is and add a line explaining.
Making a new profile seems a bit over the top the more I think about it. In my mind, it's not that deep haha
Thanks again! |

"What ever you do it won’t be right be some. Won’t meet if you have no verification so how you meant to get the first one. "
Why worry about those that won't meet you? Surely better to focus on those that will?
Try getting along to a group social, is a great way to get to know people and them you, and also to pick up a veri if it's important to you. |

It doesn't play a massive part in who I meet hun. People could still be absolutely batshit crazy with verifications but saying that I don't think changing it is going to make much difference. Xx |

cut n paste your old profile to a new one then fresh start then no one can judge you ..i do look at veri's because ill only meet verified due to the amount of timewasters on here (not all of course) you get a different answer from all because we all use fab diffently. |

So one thing is for sure. If you don’t change something then nothing is likely to change. The biggest impact you can make I would suggest is starting over. But don’t just replicate the profile. Give it a makeover.
Or go to a club and get a stack of verifications.
Better still. Do both

It doesn't bother me that your account is one year old and you don't have verification. Your photos are verified. It's well written. You were inactive, it's your choice and not a big issue. I don't think you should open. |

Some people want to collect veris like badges of honour or to record the notches on their bed posts. Too many can be as bad (if not worse) as none. Club visits do not guarantee verifications either. People are there to socialise with the bonus of potential play and not to give out calling cards. Over the years I've had many club visits and good encounters but not collected veris. If you can establish a good dialogue in a chat room you can develop those relationships into a meet that is more likely to result in a very. |

Veris are a mind-boggling thing in general; none or a big gap between, and you’re a time waster, lots and recent and you’re ‘too active for me’.
Those who state ‘must be recent verified within 6 months’ etc, what is that all about? Do people change so radically after 6 months? Are they not the same person they were 5 months, 3 weeks, and 6 days ago?
Do your own thing in here mate, never try to please the masses |

i know everyones circumstances are different so im not assuming people are fakes but if someone says they are interested in meeting me and i see a long period with no 'meets' ill ask why and usually i ask for a fone conversation before continuing chatting, women and couples who contact me on here without meets for 6months or more have never, in my experience, ended up in a meet, but thats just my personal experience |

Doesn’t put me off if a guy isnt verified as I know its far easier for a woman to get meets on here than a guy, a nice friendly profile and someone thats happy to chat a while first n have a social is far more appealing than a dozen veris x gotta start somewhere x |

"Just because you don't have a verification, doesn't mean you haven't been meeting!
They aren't the be all, end all
Keep it, I say."
We don't have any recent veris because we've had repeat meets and don't see the need to review each time. We've met some friends over
a dozen times - we're not going to veri each time.
And if potential playmates are put off by something like this, they're not chilled enough to meet us! |

I would think if someone is on here for over a year without veris then they're not serious about the lifestyle and would avoid, even more so if he said he had been inactive for 11 months as that suggests he was in a relationship which went wrong so he's back until he finds "something better." But as you can see from the responses not everyone thinks that way so it's all down to the type of person you're looking to attract |

A lot of the guys i meet don't want people to know that they enjoy being sucked off by and fucking gay guys which is why they don't give or display notifications. Maybe put in your profile that you don't do verifications because you value discretion and privacy. Tbh verifications or a lack of them does not put me off. I am more put off by users who have verifications running into triple figures! |

yes but not every one verfi's. I have met people and not had a verfication or not put a verfication on theirs. So to me not that bothered in verfications. Lots of people don’t display veri’s and I know some members have fake veri’s.
Veri’s aren’t important and it’s nothing to do with anyone why you have been inactive. You do not have to explain yourself to a bunch of strangers.

I know people who check the verifications of the verifier too! Most people are weary due to the time waster issue and you can’t blame them for that, even as a guy I will pay attention to veris. You only get out of it what u put into it, so I suggest finding a club social and popping along for a couple of hours, quick and easy Veri from a reliable source and box ticked, I wouldn’t class that as desperate, you may even enjoy yourself |

If you had been a year without a meet what's the guarantee that you creating a new profile will get you a meet?
Fab here is a game of matching but the truth is there are thousand single guys to one woman so the matching and meeting is almost impossible. The only sure way to meet as a single here is to attend a club or social where veris are irrelevant.
Just like me I am not here to meet just anybody and everybody so peoples opinion of lack of veris on my profile..I care less!
My advice to you OP keep your profile as it is when you get someone who is into your type and down with your profile veris wont matter neither will it stop them from meeting you.
Good luck.

Serious about the lifestyle? Avoid? Surely you can swing every night, or indeed once a year? It’s not how often you swing, it’s how you choose to do it.
This type of narrow mindedness I find really bizarre from someone “ in this lifestyle”

My veris go up and down dependant on if they remain on my friends list and if they stay on the site at all. I’ve asked in the past not to be verified as I find it childish and pointless. I mean who gives a bad veti? And if they do you dont have to show it anyways.
If anything the person with the most veris I will avoid.
