I've been on and off here for a few years now but I can't seem to get a meet I've chatted to few people but that it I'm not asking for anything in the first message I just say hello and my name and I'm looking to meet new people that it can someone please tell me what I'm doing wrong thanks

It's just a numbers game. Single fellas considerably outnumber women and couples on the site.
You have to stand out from the rest in some way that appeals to whoever you are looking for. Some women dont like beards. Some do. You shouldn't have to change yourself or your profile but if you're serious you can try coming at it differently.
Try and get your name down for a social event or visit a club. Networking is key and relying on messaging over the internet isn't working for you. Really put yourself out there and let those lusty ladies (of which there are no shortage of in Durham/Teeside) you're on the prowl. |

I have to agree with wet wife. I've been on and off Fab for a number of years but only recently gone to clubs. On the site you are one in a thousand with only your profile to represent you. As long as you go to a club with the attitude that you might hook up, but might not, you can at least advertise the whole package! You aren't just the beard, lol. A lady might like your accent, or tatts or your arse in those jeans. Clubs also prove you've made the effort to get out and meet real people instead of expecting a shag to arrive on the doorstep. This ain't Amazon! |

Being ginge can be a handicap but some women are into that sort of thing.
Nicely trimmed beard perhaps?
If you adopt the notion that fab isnt for actually meeting people and just have a few fun chats, you'll never be disappointed.

Not sure I entirely agree. There are some women who love big beards. It’s a bit of a niche market maybe, but when they love them, they tend to really love them  |

No, it's not the beard, some people love them.
Less people will be interested because of the ginger, some people love that though.
Less people will be interested because you're a bit short but it won't bother some.
Less people will be less interested because you describe yourself as ample, but some won't care.
See what I'm getting at? There's all sorts of people on here, you have to make your profile as appealing as possible and atm it's not very.

Rubbish!
Lots of women on here love a guy with a beard. Just look at all the beard threads to see that! Styled or big bushy captain Jack sparrow beards do it for alot of people, including myself.
OP, keep the beard! Just take better pics. Within most of your pics, you look like a shocked deer in headlights |

Please dont copy and paste what someone is giving you guidance on. Dont try and snare with someone elses words.
Say what you think and feel, not what you think someone wants to hear. Make contact by being yourself.
If they want african, not african sunset, nothing will change that.
And dont worry, even the tall, fit, good looking and funny rarely meet anyone.
