Is it rude if you delete messages when the conversation has finished but send a friend request or add them to your hotlist so you know where they are to chat to

I don’t think it’s rude. I tend to add to Hotlist as most wont accept friend requests straight away.

I can't see why. If you get lots of messages it's just good housekeeping.

We always save favourite messages and add profiles we want to remember to our hotlist. It’s so easy to lose track of people on here.

I delete messages off an even if the conversation is ongoing just because sometimes if I'm a bit lazy when it comes to applying to messages I have to delete some to get to the other unread Ones.

We think it's ruder to be sent a friend request when we've never even talked to the person and they have no friends only photo's themselves.
