Ok this is embarrassing for me to talk about, but if I don't ask, I don't find out.
If it's not maintained, I'm a reasonably Abominably hairy beast. Fortunately I'm not very dark haired.
I've a hairy chest, genitals, very strong beard growth and hairy arms and legs.
Nothing a razor can't solve, or so I thought. On my legs and arms and face it doesn't seem to be much of an issue. Around my pubic triangle and, chest and stomach I get a bit of a shaving rash. If I let the hair grow back a bit (inbetween meets), it turns into an itchy rash from the short sharp hairs rubbing against my skin.
I've been waxed before, I hated it, it was diabolically painful on my chest and by the time my skin has recovered (Same kind of rash). The hair begins to return.
What do I do!  What am I doing wrong? Am I a shit Tranny? And doomed to just be my bisexual self and say goodbye to the dressing?

Try an epilator they really work well and hair regrowth is the same as waxing, although can be painful as first but less so the more you use it. We used to wax but waiting between sessions and the mess as frustrating. |

Thankyou x I can handle a milder less intense but more continual pain. Wax on my chest is pure excruciation though |

Magic powder works very well and regrowth is much slower than with shaving and far less likely to get ingrown hairs.
It can be a nuisance to mix properly and I found the best way is to out the powder and water into a lidded container that doesn't leak. Shake vigorously for a few minutes and it's perfectly mixed with no lumps.
Exercise caution when using it as it can cause painful burns if left on too long! |

it only hurts on my chest and shoulders. nowhere else. Pain is excrutiating and often leads to bleeding. Was done by a professional. |

Don't think they sell it there, you can get it on Amazon though. Also it's not embarrassing, I always get my very at there or Tesco, they don't give it a second though. Especially with lots of men shaving their chests and whatnot nowadays |

Try hair conditioner instead of a shaving gel. Just a cheap one, nothing fancy. Veet might be a good idea to try too, just be careful around your nipples in case it burns. Maybe get the sensitive one!

Boots don't sell it but you can buy on amazon and ebay. Don't get the ready mixed stuff as it's not as good. I use the sensitive one - it's a silver colour carton with green writing.
Do you have a West Indian store near you? Here in Nottingham there are several that sell groceries and health and beauty products. They all sell magic powder but don't always have the sensitive one in stock. |

I find using exfoliating gloves every other day keeps ingrown hairs at bay. I use coconut oil conditioner and a mans steel blade razor on my legs and underarms. Allow to air dry and pat with Sudacrem afterwards if my skin is feeling sensitive x |

If you have a lot of spare change - I laser monthly and then shave on certain body areas. It’s softened the hairs and reduced them.
I prefer boots sensitive hair removal cream - I find its more suited to my skin than veet |

I've always had Hollywood waxes on my bikini area. If you don't mind the pain, I find it's the best form of hair removal for me. My waxer uses Lycon waxs and there's no redness, pain or rash afterwards.
Alternatively my friend shaves with a razor and conditioner and then uses Witch hazel gel from boots. She said the trick is to keep on top of shaving it daily so no rash appears. Not sure if it works as I'm yet to try it. She swears by it though x |

a) I'm only doing this part of the time, most of the time I'm happily not dressed up.
b) I kind of like my body hair in man mode.
c) I don't have the spare cash for it.
d) In summer I work with bare arms and legs and given I'm happily in closet I've no desire to give game away, I think bald arms would
I'll try baby oil, conditioner and razor, keep on top of things more regularly and see how I go. If no joy I'll try the Veet and/or magic powder. If I'm still struggling I may have to stitch my profile to Bi Male who dresses occasionally |

I use an epilator which to start with was painful but over time it’s easier and my hair growth is less. I used to get razor bumps spots and ingrown hairs but found tendskin used twice a day solves this, it’s available on eBay fro several sources |

I've used Veet sensitive but don't leave it on beyond the recommended time especially in sensitive areas. I also use an electric razor but moisturise just before shaving which seems to give a closer shave. Never tried powder but will try the baby oil mentioned above. |

I can confirm that cheap hair conditioner, even the stuff that's 39p for 2 gallons, works well when shaving. Exfoliate afterwards. Much less bumpy red itchy stuff.
If you have spare cash and want permanent removal, I've been using a Tria 4X laser on my arms for 3 months,they've been hairless for 5 weeks now. It's expensive to buy at about £250 but can do everywhere apart from male face, nipples, cock or balls. Eventually the hair curse will be gone.
It took 2 years for anyone to notice my previously gorilla like arms were smooth. I just told them I liked them smooth. No need for any other reason. |

IPL is great but unfortunately it won't work for me as as my skin is dark and my hair is blonde and fine. So I shall stick to the epilator. |

I find waxing is best but it’s not for everyone ...I used to shave in the shower using baby oil ..and found I didn’t get any rash u must have very sensitive skin. Have u tried hair remover cream. I still think waxing is the way forward did u exfoliate before your appointment..I hope u find what works for you |

Hi - a few years ago I was really fed up with my body hair, and decided to take a deep breath and have professional laser reduction treatment. I have light skin and was (then) mostly dark haired, but if anyone tells you it is painless they have not had it done (or did not have much as I did to start with).
My body hair is now well under 5% of what it used to be (more like 1 to 2%), I have had some top-ups when special offers were on. Next possible target is a smattering of tummy hair. In the meantime I have had some electrolysis, waxing and sugaring to tidy areas - and I am fairly deft with tweezers for the odd few beggars that keep turning up.
Its my choice and I made it- I prefer it that way (I tend to prefer it that way on others, but that is their choice and not mine and it is not the be all and end all).
I don't think any other method would have been so generally successful (if long winded), and if the home machines are getting to be as good that is brilliant for those who want to go that way |

And to get more back on the original question, no don’t give it up. Your photos look wonderful, the underwear is fab and you bum is devine. wish I looked like that, Just enjoy the clothes whatever and re the hair, do what is comfortable and works for you. Repeated waxing will likely have less of a reaction, try a smaller area first. Also, sugaring, although similar in principle, is supposed to be less reactive. |

(mr) razor, waxing, epilating all give me rash and spots except my legs, but I've been shaving those for years. these days i usually just use a body hair trimmer, pretty cheap from tesco and really quick. I take all the covers off and then it shaves close enough to be visibly smooth, with just a tiny bit of roughness to touch. you can also use it with a 3mm cover to massively reduce the appearance of arm hair while retaining enough hair to avoid questions. good luck and keep doing what the hell you want with your own body! x |

Persevering with waxing helps i have been getting a full body wax for years and it's worth the results.
If not then a mild mouisteriser or conditioner as other have said with a fresh razor will do the job lovely.
The key thing for bumps and cuts is to use pure gels on them to aid healing i find.
I use witch hazel on any cuts and aloe vera gel all over.... Both are wonderful for your skin x |

For the record, I've not touched my body hair in weeks. As I'm in more of a "Man flux". Someone sent me a PM asking how often I removed it, I was leaving it 3-4days which may explain the rash I was having. If I was more frequent it may not appear. Given I only do it when the mood takes, I don't think it was the initial drama I made it out to be. I knew there would be good advice on the forum though. There always is if you ask respectfully and politely.
