I've had a 1996 honda stepwagon day van now for around 3 years and been up and down the UK tho camper conversions rare they are reliable and good on petrol |

I converted a van about 3 years ago for touring Scotland. It has a fixed bed for 2 but space was an issue, not a lot of converted vans would have a tripple sized fixed bed , there wouldn’t be much room for anything else.
Suppose it really comes down to priority’s in the van, not sure if there’s a big swingers scene with vans that justifies a fixed triple bed. A fold up bed just wouldn’t take a pounding. These things are designed for holidays not orgies |

Not quite true.
I built my own van i have a 6ft by 6ft8 bed which comes down in the middle for seats and passage through the middle with storage lockers underneath and that has had a few poundings. With separate 5ft kitchen and 3.5ft of cabin space with captain chairs up front  |
