possibly is more for gold members, pretty sure that, along with the number of photos allowed are the prime reasons for going gold.

You can upload 15 per day as a gold member.

It's not down to verification - it's down to site supporter status.

3 a day for non supporters, 8 for silver, 15 for gold.
