Sex and alcohol! Do the two go together? Do people find they perform better after a drink or 2? Does alcohol ruin your sexual pleasure?
I know the short term and long term dangers of alcohol and sex. I personally prefer not to mix the two and cast no judgement on those who have a drink during the social aspect of a meet. |

I have no problem with someone having a drink, but if they had to get d*unk before playing I would question why they needed to do so. I certainly wouldn't be happy if I thought they had to be pissed to fuck. |

We have played completely sober and also with a couple of drinks too but never d*unk neither of us would ever want to be in a possibly unwanted situation through alcohol so we wouldn't play with anyone who drank too much. Heightened sexual arousal is knowing you are all wanting the same thing not drinking to be able to allow yourself to reduce your inhibitions!

I (female) won't drink if fabbing or clubbing reason 1 ing I like to have my wits about me just in case, never happened yet buy never know and 2 I drive myself to and from where ever I meet, don't ever rely on someone else for lifts, when I'm ready to leave I leave simples x |

It’s 100% a no go for us, so are people who are into 420 we’d rather everyone be fully aware of what’s going on.
Also been told a few horror stories, which puts us off as well.

I have seen several times the affect drink has on (mainly) women in swinging clubs...arguments and fights...probably because they are not really comfortable with swinging and the husband thinks that if he gets her pissed before, then all will be okay x |

Always sober for me although I understand why people might want to relax before playing.
Seen some sights when it doesn’t work; fights, coercion of unwilling partners, vomiting, limp dicks, people passed out and those unable to consent with inevitable consequences in the morning.
I find sexual encounters are better when people are relaxed, chatting and connecting with each other. If a glass of wine or two helps that happen then so be it.
Personally it’s not for me anymore, but I won’t judge anyone for their legal habits. I exercise my right to walk on by.

Nothing worse than meeting a couple when one of the two is d*unk beyond a couple of drinks for Dutch courage!
I appreciate it helps with nerves but if you have to be so d*unk you pass out in your vomit in the back garden, so you can handle a threesome that involves your wife and another guy, you’re not ready to swing!

I think it's ok to have a couple of drinks for a bit of Dutch courage..For me it's a bit of a turn off when they've had one too many... Not that I'm judging them ... Each to their own, And then there's the consent thing to think about. I usually drive to the club's so take it steady. I also like to be aware of my surroundings... Especially if I'm a wing wan for a single female play mate that I have accompanied to a club  |

Oh the good old righteous brigade ffs....there is a difference between having 1 or 2, or 3 or 4, depends on the person, ffs lighten up, yes very d*unk is bad, but I have had some great encounters on the merry/tipsy/d*unk border. Can't be doing with perfect people tbh.

Most of the time I drive to a meet so drink driving is a big no, if I ever find somewhere to live I love being social and can be more accommodating after a glass of something, but I like control too much to get d*unk... |

I won't mix the two as if you have been drinking I cannot guarantee that you are consenting to what is happening.
Communication and consent are the two pillars that my style of play is built upon. So, drinking and playing are a no, no for us. |

I would say a drink or two to ease the nerves is perfectly acceptable. But I have a rule of never having sex with someone if they are d*unk rather than tipsy... I just don't think you get the same enjoyment out of it if your wasted and plus probably won't remember it! |

I am of two opinions on the subject.
On the one hand, sex sober just feels so much better, more enjoyable.
On the other, there have been a few things I wanted to try that I wanted a drink or more to have the courage to do. I knew what I wanted.
To that end, I had a friend with me who I trusted implicitly. Told him my boundaries, and trusted he would back me up (which he did).
I had a few great evenings out comfortable in knowing that my boundaries wouldn't be crossed no matter how much I drank.
Consent is essential. Being d*unk means consent is questionable, but having given that beforehand, knowing it wouldn't be abused, was wonderful. |

A few drinks, yes. Being actually d*unk, no. If we’re having people over, we’ll have a single glass of wine when getting ready, then one or maybe two with our guests while chatting before the play starts. While at a club, we stick to slowly sipped singles with large mixers throughout the evening. As many have said, a drink to relax is fine, but drinking to the point of blurring your own boundaries, never mind losing your judgement when it comes to consent, is a massive no no. |

I don't and prefer people if they arn't hitting the bottle too. Not just because of the brewers droop but it makes some people aggressive and I really don't like that. |
