Something about this site I’ve never understood. People add you as friends then never speak to you again. Why I wonder. Not very sociable is it

Some because they want to see your friends only pictures and some because they like to have a huge friends list.

We have people on our friends list that we haven't chatted to in months, its our fault as much as theirs really.

I get this a lot, the only conclusion I’ve managed to find is they’re looking for free porn from our private pictures, it’s kinda sad really, isn’t meeting in person more satisfying that a wank alone?

It's a tricky one. Most ladies seem to expect you to initiate the conversation every time, but I became very conscious of doing that all the time and felt more like I was pestering them.

Over the roundabout and then turn right.

We dont use our friends list for general chatting. People in our friends list are people we have met and would like to meet again or are people we are hoping to meet at some future point.

We like to see our friends updates in case the opportunity arises to meet.

I never accept friends requests until we've chatted and built a foundation.

Random requests get ignored.

Or sometimes I'll wait until they are offline, add them, look at their pics and unfriend again lol.

You say people add you as friends?

Surely you have to accept there request or vice versa?

Why would you accept random requests in the first place or send one? Surely a friend is someone you have met, not just a random you have messaged on a website? My friends list would only have people I have met or chatting to with a view to a meet.

We only add folk we are likely to meet after chatting for a bit. If in the future we are not conversing we will send a nice message. If we get ignored we delete them from friends list. Our opinion is friends don't ignore friends, it has to be 2 way

I don't have friends only pictures for this reason and if someone asks to be a friend that I don't actually know then I just tell them to hotlist me to see any statuses or where I am

Yes, we will only accept friend requests once been chatting a while and happy we get along.

Random requests are a big bugbear for us as it is incredibly rude and disrespectful!... we quite often instantly block those that do it

We may accept friend requests if we like the profile and one day we may even contact to meet but there is a world including professional and social life outside of fab! We don’t want to talk to people and get to know them in a virtual world unless we had an imminent meet in mind.

I suspect your frustration is highlighting that you may have the wrong mentality?
