This topic has been done to death many times in the forum mate, but the outcome will never change; clubs charge what they like for single males, and it’s up to you whether you choose to pay it or not. You have to decide whether visiting a swingers’ club is going to be a better experience than whatever else you were planning on doing, and then take the cost on the chin. Personally (based on my experiences), I wouldn’t recommend the club scene to a single guy, but you are your own man, it’s your choice. Good luck with whatever you decide

Simply identify as female when going to clubs...problem solved

the trick is to know a single lady then go in together as a couple.

it may not be right but you pay for her to get in and its still cheaper than paying the single male rate

Can't do that at some clubs need to have a verified couples account.

"I think the differential varies wildly from club to club, have even heard of some that charge the same across the board - totally understand why some clubs charge a premium though. Ultimately the choice is with the buyer, if you think it's too expensive, find somewhere else where you think it isn't "

Charges can be high for guys at clubs.

I haven’t attended one yet but I will do.

Letting women in free is one way to attract more women to join them.

Plus if guys were let in free then there would be too many.

Plus guys are the majority on fab and the clubs so why shouldn’t they charge more.

The rest of us will try to cope!

I'm guessing if you were to go, you'd want there to be people other than single men in attendance?

When it comes to sex, men are more likely to hunt it out and pay for it in its various forms - look at the audience for the majority of porn, strip clubs and prostitutes. Less women go to clubs already and if you look at previous forums on this topic, so many women say they'd not go if the prices were similar to those for single men whereas hundreds of men go to clubs every week at current higher prices.

If prices were lower for guys I think you'd get more of the ones with the wrong attitude. With prices as they are, you're more likely to get the guys who think about the night first and educate themselves a little more because they want to make the most of it (note I said more likely, not only going to get!) Yes it does put some decent guys off but it's just about thinning out the numbers.

I agree it’s frustrating. Even as a single F I don’t like the price differences. I went somewhere recently where it was £15 m

£10 F

£10 C

Even that is an unfair ratio. The couple are getting in for £5 each.

The social I am throwing soon Is £5 per person. Equal across the board

Then they should charge women more for drinks to re coup on the loses from women getting free entry.

A strategy of women getting free entry can only be sustained so long. Will need to find more revenue generating plans.

Like it or not, unfair or not. It's the same everywhere.

German Spanish, French, and Dutch clubs all charge more for single guys.

We've seen prices as high as 130€ for single guys in some German clubs.

Totally wrong. The strategy can be sustained forever because the revenue generating plan is to charge single guys more to cover it. Also the number of single women is so small compared to guys.

Some may come on here and complain about it but unless single guys completely stop going to clubs (which they won't) nothing will change.

As we and countless others have said over the years on here. If the price was balanced then the numbers of women and couples would drop and guys increase until clubs became nothing more than men's wank groups.

This.

I suspect the most difficult part of club pricing is how much to charge men.

Too low and the place will be full of men and not necessarily the type of men people will want to play with.

Too high and they could have a sense of expectation. I've paid a lot of money, where's my sex!!!

To be honest I would look at the whole subject a bit differently.

When I first started going to swinger clubs as a single guy in the mid/late 80's the choice was simple because there was only one club in the whole country. Go back to the early 80's and there was no such thing.

Now the choice is fantastic with dozens, if not hundreds to choose from.

Instead of whinging about an extra tenner or so, be thankful that there is somewhere to go instead of having to go back to the old Loot ads for extra curricular sex.

No worries mate, glad to help. I've visited 6 different clubs, a total of 9 times, so can speak about the price differential from experience. I always accepted I would be in the 'Premium rate' classification, and went in with an open mind, and zero expectations. You are right there it is a premium but you do meet some good people in clubs and it can be a good social introduction. I haven't done as many different clubs as you but been to a few on multiple times as it worked well for me and I had a lot of fun. I guess by the sounds of it I was lucky but I do stand out a bit I guess.

I can only hope this was said in jest .

In these days if so called equality , one would hope women may enjoy sex as much as men , and be happy to do it for the sheer pleasure as opposed to expecting something for giving it .

I’ve always thought the whole pricing structure is very biased , but at the end of the day if no women or couples went to the clubs , neither would the men , so it’s supply and demand .

There's one over here that had been doing that for few yrs now. At the last one I asked the host about this and both their reply was interesting. The price doesn't mean better or worse guys at all, nor does it reduce the number of ladies. Couples are charged as singles too.

Those who say that it sifts out better men is just tosh. It only plays on the fact that most men are less choosey and as such will pay almost anything for a night out in ladies company in the hope of a leg over. It doesn't take into account those men who have genuine self respect about being used. I wouldn't go to any that has a price discrepancy. A long time friend of mine has just decided to have her first. Many told her she should be charging more for single men. She has and I declined my invite. I just said on principle I'd not go. Charging 2 couples 50 and 4 single guys entry 120 just shows the nonsense. Many ladies actually see this as wrong and many go on to say that ladies tend to leave a bigger mess for lean up.

As a club they can legally have whatever membership requirements and entry fees they choose and still be within the law. A couple of examples......

In my nearest city there is a vanilla nightclub which charges men to enter at all times of the night but single ladies are free before midnight.

Traditional working men’s clubs and CIU have excluded ladies from full membership since they have been in existence. Men become full members but ladies can only become a member as a spouse/partner to a man and get no voting rights in the running of the club. This was finally changed around 10 years ago.

Golf clubs for years have excluded women. Muirfield golf club was one of the last bastions of this discrimination. They finally voted to allow women to become members in 2017 but as yet they still have not got a single female member due to the 3 year waiting list for membership.

"Never judge a club on just one night, and never judge the scene on just one club", is the advice someone once offered me, hence I tried a few different clubs, including, as you know , Atlantis. I tried one club three times, and another I've been to twice, in an effort to "get myself known". I think I gave it a fair crack of the whip

Might be a bit unpopular on here but we like higher priced places for the exclusivity, this is across the board though as opposed to discriminating against single guys.

The clubs we particularly like in Paris are around €100 to €170 for a couple on the main nights, drinks around €20 each on top.

Other nights the prices are less, with females generally coming in at half of a couple and single males when they’re allowed about 50% more than a couple.

Completely agree this is an unfair structure, but the market has led it to this, and I suppose the thinking is to discourage guys as there’s no shortage of willing entrants, which is a bit risky because the more a guy pays potentially the more entitled he feels, the door policy usually deals with this though.

For us a night in a club is the same as if we were going for a meal or a drink, we like nice places and experiences, so applying the same principle to this side of our lives of course we are going to want to find clubs with the strict door policy and entrance fees, it means when we’re inside we’re meeting people of a similar mindset to us, and to be fair have never had any issue with respect or boundaries.

We don’t play with single guys so it’s hard to say, but I’d probably agree with the sentiment on here that there’s not really a huge amount of value in expensive clubs without a specific meet lined up or regular friends at a place.

If you ever catch us once we get going I can promise you a damn good show for your entrance fee though!

What’s the price difference between a call girl and a club entrance price?

" I’d probably agree with the sentiment on here that there’s not really a huge amount of value in expensive clubs without a specific meet lined up or regular friends at a place.

This is the conclusion I came to, which I reflect in my profile

It’s tough that it’s like that but the reality unfortunately is what it is, must say as well, excellent profile. As ours says, single guys aren’t our thing but all of the posters asking about how to put together a good profile should be pointed your way!

Hatfield Lee, completely understand, regardless of cost nobody wants to pay to feel isolated!

A lot of people say it and we can see how it would be intimidating, but the local socials seem to be a good way to at least get amongst other people on here, we don’t attend ours as the guestlists aren’t really to our tastes usually, however we have the benefit of each other so don’t need to mingle really!

May be a blanket statement, but the bad reputation of single guys in this community in our opinion is unfounded, granted there’s a bad few everywhere, however F here would rather be in a swinging environment where a no thankyou is 99 % of the time respected than a bar where it’s seen as a challenge

Interesting. I want to give the club scene a try, but don't know where to start. Tried to contact a Glos couple on here who'd made comments to get advice but I'm not in their age limits, so no msg to them. Anyone help for clubs nearest, or best, around Gloucestershire area?

The only reason why men get ripped off at club or social events is to keep out the time wasters but to be honest i think it unfair on men to pay a higher price to have fun than anyone else

"the trick is to know a single lady then go in together as a couple.

it may not be right but you pay for her to get in and its still cheaper than paying the single male rate"

Charming. I don't think there would be many women who would be happy to be used to gain cheaper entry into a club. I certainly wouldn't!

That really doesnt make sense. How are they time wasters if they turn up at the club and are prepared to pay the entrance fee? Clubs can charge these prices coz men are prepared to pay them. No shortage of men, fair or not.

Because it's sneaky and then the club has more single guys in there. Which can be frustrating at times. Especially when they just follow you around . I'm speaking from a couples pov mind you. But saying that, what would clubs do with less single guys. From my experience of single guys, the right ones make a good night. I've been to nights that single men aren't allowed and the atmosphere is dead in comparison to when they are allowed. Me and my girlfriend Lexi have never been back to any night in any club that's just couples and single females only

"just spent £50 at the pub. had a great night with no chance of a fuck. what's up with people ?

"

Exactly this! There’s usually around 6 hours of entertainment (even if it ends up being just eye candy) on offer, and many are unlicensed, so you don’t even have to pay for booze. What else can you do for approximately 5 quid an hour other than wank off at home for free? Not quite sure what some peopel really expect for what effectively equates to a maximum of a poxy £50, for a night out. At many clubs it’s a lot less! Most we’ve visited represent terrific value for money.
