I do use the Private Note function on some profiles, mainly to jog my memory about a profile.
I have comments like:
“swapped fun emails about status”
“Very funny forum posts”
Does anyone else do this or is it just me and my very mild OCD/organisational preferences?

"I use it to remember names.
There are so many profiles with similar usernames.. I get confused who I'm chatting to.. "
That is exactly it - it is almost like giving them a name badge and a quick description on thier profile. |

Isn't that the purpose of them?

Unless I am missing something then yes, I was wondering how many other people use them.
Do you have Private Notes on some profiles? |

Oh you were asking if it was just you? I suspect a lot use them. I've no need for them. I remember all I need to. |

That doesn't make any sense... you can't see them when you've blocked them! |

I use it for names. To jog my memory about what we’ve talked about and, if I’ve had sex with them, I note how it was and whether I’d do it again.
Notes include:
“Aaaaaaaagh do not fancy him at all”
“Pushy - AVOID”
“Patronising fucker”
“Mind blowing sex”
“Kinky but far away - one for the future”
“So hot but he doesn’t fancy me goddamnit”
“Said something weird about bisexual men. Be cautious”
“Such a sweet guy. V v fancy him”
Etc |

Yes you can, if you go to your block list you can still access the notes from the top menu |

Serious question. Why would anyone waste time looking at reasons why they've blocked someone? |

Dunno....maybe if you've been on here a while and blocked someone ages ago but see funny or smart forum posts and think "hmmmm....maybe they're not a fanny after all?" |

Mr adds our notes. I'd get a lifetime ban if I posted any of his comments |

I use them especially when they don't have many public pics. I think most of my notes just say 'No', that's all I need to know!! A couple say '2 profiles' with the name of the second profile. Dodgy buggers!! |

If you can’t remember having sex with them, they’re probably not worthy of another meet. |

"I have a good memory so don't really need to make notes on people but if I did I wouldn't keep them on the site its just a little sinister if you stand back and look at it and this facility. "
Are you saying you think physical notes are sinister but mental ones aren't? |

Do you write notes on all your neighbours, work colleges? |

People change user names and profile pics, so notes are useful. Unless they go unlos and re-join. |

I don't think anyone would need to do that, they aren't strangers on the internet that you might be thinking about meeting up with.
I don't get why you think it's sinister but each to their own!! |

I'm even more baffled now! What is sinister about making private notes about people you loosely know? |

We use them to remind us if we said no thanks and the date when. Also for any other reminders if it's on and off chat as I don't like to keep too many messages in the inbox.

Yes you can. They appear in your blocked list. Then select the options and notes come up. I use it in that manner I don't need to make notes for any others. I've a few friends but I know them well, I've a few meets and probably know them even better as they're never one off meets. |

Yes I copy the random copy paste messages with a date makes me laugh when they forget sending the same thing each month .
Notes also remind me what I like or dislike including links to certain threads posted .
Very useful part of fabs.
My memory needs a prop up now and then |

"Shame when you do it
It doesn’t then ‘pop up’ on their page as a note... you have to go and look for it
Would that be easily doable?
Mrs P "
There’s a little notepad icon that shows on their profile near the verified ones if I remember right |

I use them to make a note when they have left a status update I’m not impressed with, generally says ‘idiot avoid’ or similar or if they’ve messaged the same copy and paste crap several times. |
