Amp is short for ampersand, it's the symbol "&" which means and, unfortunately Fabswingers doesn't seem to be able to process it so when people use "&" it come up "amp" instead. |

Saw ATM a few comments ago. I always thought it meant Ass to Mouth from what some were prepared to do in US Porn Vids and it was on their CV. But I sometimes use it in messaging as an abbreviation for "at the moment" like "Not meeting atm". |

For further purpose of education it actually stems from an American term that gives indicated time reference of teens getting home from high school at around 4.20pm and parents leaving work at 5pm which gives 420 the "perfect" time to engage in said activity before anyone is home to catch them. |
