My friend recently found out my husband and I have started swinging and when we were talking she said that she was interested in coming to our next club night. The only thing stopping her is that her however is that she got an sti when her ex cheated on her which she now has for life. Obviously it goes without saying that safe sex is a must, but that's not always the case with oral sex. And as my husband and I are new to the scene and both clear it's not something we've really come across yet.

We were all wondering how other people bring up the topic with potential meets and when.

If your playing with any infection it's got to be the first thing you discuss, is it transferable what precautions do you need to take, there are condoms for tongues etc. Definetly a thing you should talk about before playing.

In total agreement potential playmates need informing first.

What about those that like us are clear. How would you go about asking a potential meet if theyre clear also.

I always assume that people aren’t, because there’s no way to prove it.

STIs such as herpes virus is for life, and can be transfered even if condoms are used, however not easily transfered when sores are not Present. I think all your friend can do is let people know and they can make their own decision weather to play or not

Just ask them. It's up to you whether you believe their answer and what proof you would require especially in a club.

Opinion on the forum is split as to whether it's worth asking.

Split between people that understand probability and people that don't

We assume our own protection level always but it's usually nice to know people would say if there was a risk. It's always a hard one because how do you really trust people if you've just met them or only meet them for sex. Male
