Confidence visiting clubs

Hello all,

I haven't posted on here much but I used to attend clubs fairly regular however because of my illness (I am a wheelchair user) I would love to visit again to socialise but I find myself in a position where my fear or rather nerves are stopping me.

As a single male does anyone have any advice tips? Greatly appreciated.

My last club visit was a few years back now

OP I would think the biggest issue for you visiting clubs would be the fact many just aren't accessible because they are spread over different floors with no lift.

The only one I know of that is fully accessible is quest - I believe one of the owners is a wheelchair user.

As for confidence the best advice I can give you is to try and fake it! Lots of people have social anxiety and struggle with confidence. Practice your social skills in a "normal" environment and make conversation with everyone you can. If you can build up your confidence in day to day situations it will help you be more confident in non-vanilla situations.
