We're popping down there for a week from the 18th Aug..
Are there any clubs or nudist beaches??
Or even better any sexy cpls or singles that would like to meet up??  |

No clubs except Gems which is about 25 miles away near Yeovil.
Nudist beaches. Much better! You have Studland which is an official naturist beach and near Swanage. Reachable by car or bus, this is a mile long beach with fairly wide sand and some dunes as well. If you`re going by car, park at either the NT Knoll car park (chargeable) where there`s toilets and a café (don`t park on the road outside or you`ll get a ticket!) or at the side of the road near the bus stop and fire point on Ferry Road. Which ever place you choose to park, you will have a walk to get to the naturist part, the track from the fire point being the shorter but rougher going. If you`re parking at the Knoll, walk up the shore line as it`s easier going than walking through the dunes. From the Knoll car park or to the right as you arrive at the dunes from the fire point un-officially appears to be hetro-sexual and further on or to the left appears to be gay when in the dunes although this isn`t set in stone and play is obviously discouraged! Police and NT wardens have been known to patrol although some play does happen in the dunes from time to time! There are no facilities at the naturist beach apart from a mobile tea van! |

Never been to Gems so cannot comment from experience. Some friends when and bearing in mind the female is a smoker, they said there was a lot of cigarette smoke although I understand things on that front may well have changed. |
