Its a good place for people to first meet as its safer than at your house plus if meeting in person you may actually not like them easier to make excuses to go in the pub than with the other people sat in your house |

i have a little collection of favoured meeting places, coffee shops for daytime and pubs/hotel bars for the evening. i try to choose ones which have lots of nooks and crannies for discreet conversations and that are not too far from home/work so i can get there easily.  |

We always have a social meet first to see if we like each other in the flesh and have some chemistry. We chat about all sorts not necessarily sex so no problem being overheard and so what if we are!! |

For singles I think meeting in a pub or public place is a good idea. There are plenty of people around, and you should feel safe. But I would only do a social meet if asked for, as most peeps and couples just want to feel relaxed in an area where they feel comfortable. eg. home, hotel, or club

Same with us, although on one occassion in a pub/restraunt a froup of elderly women asked to be moved, we were not quiet in saing they shouldn't have been evesdroping and then they wouldn't have been shocked - or it could have been my body they were after but realised I had someone else on my mind for that evening lol |

if i not going to a club or party i always meet in a public place first, usually a pub but have met a few for coffee too, have met a few guys who was staying in local hotels but have always met them at the hotel bar before deciding wether to go to their room or not |

We like to meet in pubs, we usually manage to discuss swinging without going into pornographic detail, but we're not bothered if others work out we're swingers. We like to see their faces when we say "shall we go to our place or yours?" then get up to leave! |
