Whenever I do I get a bad rash and don't know why. I shaved Monday and was in pain for two days and now it's just itchy. It's so annoying how do other people cope with it? |

Exfoliate, sleep knickerless and used some E45. I hate shaving down there and try to wax or epilate where possible. A dab of teatrea oil sometimes helps. X |

I shave every few days and use Aveeno and Stubble-Eaze om it afterwards...never had an issue.
I also use a different blade to my underarm and leg razor, and I swap out the blades more often. A keen blade is your friend down there! |

"I use veet .only takes a few minuets. But don’t leave it on to long... it burns like fuck, had blisters on my balls for two days... "
I just started using Veet for men. First time went well. Not too much hair came off so had a razor shave to clean the rest up.
Second time was OK and shaved again. Note to self and everyone else probably best not to use it an hour or so before sex. Balls were properly on fire but couldn’t let that affect my performance |

I had the same problem. I shave in the bath. After soaking for 20 mins to soften the hair, i exofoliate and then use a new blade each time and after shaving use HC45 cream. Just a little. Quickly calms the area down |

Have a bath to soften the skin.
Choose your razor carefully. Get a single blade razor. Bic still sells disposable ones that doesn't look 'Barber shop threatening'. For smaller bits you can get bikini line single blade razors about 1-2 cm wide. Don't use multiblades. They will shave hairs below the skin which can cause ingrown hairs. Those Gillette five blade things are not good. The first blade will shave. The second one will drag the hair up again and shave, and so forth and so forth.
Lather up with a gentle soap. Some use conditioner. I just use soap. You can get nice ones from Barber shops or on line. Personally I can't be bothered.
Shave ya bits. There is a method for underarms, faces and legs. However those regions have a definite pattern of hair growth and you can shave against/alongside it. Pubic hair grows everywhich way it can, so it depends on the person, much more individual.
Moisturise. You've just dragged a razor across your skin. I use coconut oil or E45.
Get yourself one of those hand scrubby mitts and give a cursory scrub when you get into the shower. Not too hard. Just to encourage the hairs to grow straight or of the skin and not curl back into the skin which will cause ingrown hairs. Moisturise again.
And there you have it.
I lurked for MONTHS on a male shaving forum and it's worked for me so far... |

Shave in the direction of hair growth...usually downward or side ways...going upwards against will cause the itchiness...and invest in a really good razor...I bought a pack of different ones last week and they left both my armpits and foof quite sore. .and nicked my knees. ..so ive gone back to my trusted ones (the pink Gillette disposables |

I’ve just brought a laser hair remover..... used it a couple of times already notice a reduction in the speed of hair growth and specifically on my legs they are starting to become patchy where no hair is growing back.... also reducing the rash
So far it has been worth the investment... just hope the results continue to show |

Me too, I’ve tried different methods, this is what works for me....
Clippers for the above the Dick area, I trim to 1mm, I then shave my balls with a twin blade razor in a hot bath...dont seem to get shaving rash in that area.
Not perfect, but seems to stop the irritation |

I wax. I have sensitive skin. An the strips on razors irritate me. Plus are you shaving in warm water? Try cold |

Remember to be careful in summer when your skin may be tanned. I’m taking a break from mine because I’m way more tanned than usual with this lovely weather, and the laser/IPL can cause permanent discolouration! |

Just leave it to grow. Looks so much better when women have hair down there! |

You're best off just letting it grow, so many men want it natural, or at least don't mind it; it looks sexy when there's hair down there.
Bald, stubbly rashy fannies aren't the nicest look to be fair. |

Like with any shaving you should always make sure you heat the area first with hot water and let it soak in.
Apply some shaving cream and then shave lightly in a 3 pass system, applying more cream each pass. So shave with the hair growth, against the hair growth and across the hair growth.
Once finished, wash with cold water to close the pores, dry and apply a moisturising cream.
Moisturise every day! |

I keep getting the odd ingrown hair down below and its sore coming through! Always use a clean razor however usually more than one blade so going to try single blade. Try and use veet and nair when I can also however I shaved for a meet and its gave me an ingrown hair so the veet will sting oh the joys! Thanks for the tips everyone |

Exfoliate, exfoliate, exfoliate!
I find those cheap exfoliating gloves are the best, every couple of days.
New razor every time
Good mosturiser, I use raw shea butter
I also use none perfumed shaving cream
I used to use veet but developed an allergy, my poor miaow swelled up and felt on fire for 3 days |

"Why you waste your life doing such a pointless practice "
Clearly you don’t give a hoot about what the females endure when presented with an Amazon jungle Frankly I turn a man away if they’re hairy It usually smells of sweat and I don’t want a mouthful of fur |

I posted this last week in a similar thread.
I am a bisexual male and I have indulged in shaving for many years. I have shaved myself, been shaved by both males and females as part of play and just as an exercise and I have done waxing (anus)
Around 5 years ago I met up with a guy who offered to shave me (I often seek to meet people with this in mind) and it turned out he used to be a nurse. He proceeded to tell me when preparing people for operations they used to use talcum powder rather than a dry shave or foam.
He then proceeded to to powder my cock and balls and proceeded to shave me. It was an is amazing, no sticky foam and it smells good too. It does mean you can move onto other things very quickly.
Give it a go, I still use this method when I shave myself, in fact when I read the original post I thought it was time for a shave so I have been off and given myself a talcum powder shave. Back now nice and smooth and smelling nice sat naked typing this reply
Let me know how you go on

Exfoliate, moisturise and for the stubborn ingrown hairs - skin doctor no ingrown! It’s amazing stuff!
I’ve switched from shaving to waxing... it’s hard work for the first 4 waxes as shaved hair grows at different rates.
Exfoliate exfoliate exfoliate! Moisturise! It works!!! |

"I get really bad ingrown hairs and I've never been able to find a way to stop that happening "
Get an exfoliating mit, hot water and exfoliate regularly with a non perfumed antibacterial body wash. Try skin doctor no ingrown solution (becareful and use sparingly!!!) and also moisturise!
You will stop the ingrown and reduce inflammation super quickly. Don’t dig the ingrown hairs it will scar and take longer to heal. |

The talcum powder tip sounds amazing thanks for that. I have tried creams, tweezers, shaving and various exfoliating products and I still get ingrown hairs so I now use a number one clipper for most of it and a single blade razor for my balls. A friend of mine had her food lasered professionally and it took about eight sessions but it's the most lovely and permanently smooth pussy I have ever met. She did say that the girl who was doing her said that it doesn't always work on blondes and redheads and there's no way it will work on grey hairs |
