So you meet someone after a lot of messaging, you have fun etc and a few weeks later they try extort you for cash. Threatening to post your fab pics up in your place of work.
Of course you report them to the site and they're banned.
Few weeks later new profile and back again looking for cash. This time to report you to your place of employment for smoking a joint while having fun . Again reported and banned.
Few weeks later and another shiny new profile and again back to try thekr luck a 3rd time for cash. This time they are pretending to be a friend of the culprit. Reported today but still on the site. All messages screenshot and saved. Do you go to the police ? Can fabswingers ban the ip address and the digital fingerprint on the device or just ban email addressess? |

Seems to be a hole in the logic there.
Banning them (and thus making them invisible) is no cure as if they know where you work they can easily track you down.

Oh yes I know their identity. I collected them from their home. I can handle it. Only happens on fab. Ive nothing to lose with the threats lol. Thing about sextortion is, that I need to suffer mentally with the potential release of information. I wont. Lol. I may even get more fun!!! However there are many many people on here that would suffer from this racket. Im wondering why fab just blocks the email address but they can create a new accoint with new email 5 mins later. Fab needs to stamp out this racket. There have been quite a few suicides over this in the last few years. |

OP the problem is hardly anyone has a fixed IP address these days so blocking them from the site this way won't work. It takes a few minutes to set up a new email account and they can create a new fab account. If they use a vpn there is virtually no chance of tracing them.
Bearing all of this in mind, what do you suggest the site can do?
The only way to deal with your situation is to go to the police. It may not cause you too much distress but what about the next victim? They need to be stopped. The next victim may not be able to cope with it like you have. |

Well to be totally honest you might be right but as we don't know who this nut is plus it doesn't bother you, it kind of makes the specific point mute.
In more general terms just go to the police with there name and address. The police will take great delight in seizing there computers, tablets & phones. |
