**HELP FOR NEWBIES/NO MEETS**

This is a thread for you to post any questions you may have. Also any other tips I'm sure would be appreciated by our newer members. Let's keep this a positive thread and not let it get derailed by negativity please xxx
*HELP FOR NEWBIES/NO MEETS**
This section is especially for you singles and couples that need a bit of help with Fab!
1. Read FAQ section, particularly the part about no reply, no interest, it's not considered rude. Do not bother with the Sydney university shit on your profile, it means nothing.
2. Work on your profile: decent pics and a good bio, tick interests. Put a profile pic on. If you are a couple then pics of you both together.
3. Get photo verified, particularly important if you are a couple or single female.
4. Get cam verified to start, you can go into the cam rooms and ask someone to help you with this. Couples must both be on at the same time. Faces only and please have a profile before asking me! If I'm free to help with this I will post a status update.
5. Read a profile before messaging, it's polite.
6. Read existing forum threads on profile advice, some very good ones.
7. Post your own thread to ask for feedback, (not a whinging, whining entitled one!). Don't highjack an existing thread.
8. Act on said advice.
9. Go to local socials/clubs, meet people in public places.
10. Lastly, enjoy your time on fab and stay safe! (I have posted a thread with fabs safety advice on it too, check my green arrow)

Really helpful information. Especially about getting cam verified. Never entered my head to ask someone in the cam rooms. It is the one thing I have been getting stuck on. Will keep an eye on your status updates. |

"Cam veris for single blokes don't really mean alot. Single guys need meet veris but they are really easy to get, just go to a social."
They do need meet veris, but if they meet someone unverified they can at least start the ball rolling as they are cam verified and can verify that person. |

Don’t get put off or worried when messages you send just get deleted even when you think your a pretty good match for someone’s profile- There are 000’s of people here especially guys - So just go with the flow and don’t give up and something may happen Oh and Enjoy Fab And fully explore the site |

Asked someone who I just had chats & declined to cam veri me. When on pc use webcam in General or Directing Rooms so welcome this. Don't cam when using tablet  |

Yes Puffin works well. Just remember to close the browser sometimes and reopen if it appears to be slowing down. It is then much faster again. |

You can cam on mobile or tablet, download Puffin browser and log onto the full site not mobile app.
Yes Puffin works well. Just remember to close the browser sometimes and reopen if it appears to be slowing down. It is then much faster again."
