yes that's too long looks like suicide dairy I wouldn't read that n spent time knowing I won't get a reply even no thanks
thereare lots of guys who read profile n understand n n send a nice message with a good manner what do they get nothing even no thanks so my self I won't read that n waste my time |

Look at it this way... If somebody is too lazy or can't be bothered to read a profile and find out more about you, chances are they'll be too lazy in the bedroom.
If somebody just wants to look at pics and then ask for a shag, are they worth responding to?
You do this YOUR way and sod what others tell you to do.
Usually the people who come on and criticise the profiles and pics of others have shit profiles themselves. They make themselves feel better by picking on others. |

OK. So I read your profile in LESS than 2 minutes.
I now have a bloody good idea of who you are, how you are approaching this and what you're looking for. You sound like a lovely grounded secure couple by the way.
Seriously, if people can't be arsed to give you TWO minutes of their time at the first stage, bollocks to them! They're not worth considering. |

Thanks, we appreciate the feedback. We tried to keep the profile humorous as well so that it doesn’t become a tiresome list of what we do or don’t want. It’s supposed to be fun at the end of the day! |

I took about 2 minutes, too. Had to have a look. Love your sense of humour.
A long(ish) profile is a good filter for those who find reading hard work. They will probably find talking and getting to know you hard work, too. Do you really want to waste your time on them? |

I don't think your profile is too long. Certainly no longer than mine!
I think if people can't actually be bothered to read it, likes, dislikes, then they probably can't be bothered, full stop. Yours just explains your situation, what you are looking for and what you aren't. Seems fine to me. |

Most people view on mobiles and it is the last thing on your profile on them, I have reported this ad infinitum and had post removed because of it. [I am a pro web developer] |

We like it too.
Having content to read, give the possible contact an opportunity to write something worthy to you as their introduction. If they can't find anything beyond "hi" as their first post to you, then clearly they won't make much of an effort to justify why you should spend time with them.
There are plenty of "ins" for them to latch on to that suggest they've read your profile and introduce themselves properly.
In our view its a nice introduction to yourselves and feel that we "get" you both and where you are at with your journey, hope it's a good one for you two. |

Nothing wrong with it. Two or three minutes to read, plenty of info, humour to keep it interesting. If someone can't be arsed to invest a couple of minutes of their time in you, then they're not going to be worth meeting. |

It is a perfectly good profile with some hot pics too...tells it like it is and in THEORY is the kind of profile that should make FAB work a lot better.
Profiles are supposed to be the key to matching like with like. They should also save a lot of repeated Q n A for everybody.
Sadly the kind of people who usually complain about any profile longer than their expected 6 words "Ready to shag now, message me" will complain at the effort it takes them to read it as it deprives you of their wonderful company in the meantime.
They have bedroom talents that are so hot they need no introduction. No matter what it says in your profile these people expect you override any/all limits/restrictions you've listed and to swoon for them at first glance.
In many cases it seems they've mistaken FAB for a communal brothel where joining guarantees a shag at first message.

If people can't be bothered reading, that thins the crowd well to begin with.
We are in same boat , we have slot on ours, and find many can't be bothered reading, BUT, hasn't stopped us chatting to people...

If they can't be bothered reading your profile then it's probably a bullet dodged. Your profile is witty and honest - you can't ask for anymore than that really.
Our profile is overly long as well, but as many people have mentioned here - two minutes is all it takes (which is probably longer than most of the "can't be bothered reading this" brigade, would last anyway). |

I enjoyed reading your profile. ..the humour is a nice touch and having both a younger and older creature at home myself I can totally relate. Reading the profiles are half the fun. Information is always a good thing. It gives you a little more insight as to who they are. Many should write at least a bit more than they do, unfortunately they probably won't. Oh well, it's their loss lol.

We liked it, we have tried very short and precise and very long profiles. All versions seemed to get totally ignored my the majority any how.
It certainly isnt filled with negatives and lists of demands, dos and donts like some on here. |

I skim long profiles in order to get the main points. I tend to read a long profile properly if we’re going to meet, or have met and want to see again. That being said, ours is quite long. Conscious that most people won’t read the whole thing, I put the main points in the first couple of paragraphs.

I feel exactly the same way in all respects. Occasionally I wonder if mine is a bit long as well, but it should (hopefully) answer most of the usual questions. |

ive took my long profile off as most would not read it so instead of having a good idea of what we want via the profile from the off they now have to find out via messages that take 3 or 4 more times longer ...either way they are not meeting me until they understand what i want and weather they fit what i want ... |

Ain't this the Truth, I don't bother sending first messages, I prefer to be contacted first, people expect way to much. I'm not in too pen pals, writing out my favorite scenes from a porn I saw once. Or entertaining fools. Expect us to write them an epic from a Shakespeare.
Way I see it you got the Pick of the bunch so pick, don't sit there in you're own glory loathing over 100s messages you got fueling your ego and only replying to one lol |

Having been round the block a few times. Chasing after the icecream van. We've treid, long detailed profiles, and next to nothing ones. Even our short, shaight to the point short one now makes no differance. Most don't even read the last few words of the profile title.
