I wish I could filter more to stop unwanted messages. Height, smokers, distance etc, but sadly not. So I have yet to find out how to reduce messages to a manageable amount, where you could reply to every one. |

I'll be honest, if someone messages me and all they have is a less than detailed profile then I don't even look at the message.
I am fed up of men messaging me saying they love my profile and pics yet do not give me the same the courtesy of having the same in return, that is when I can't be arsed |

I’ve become very aware that there is an intense dislike amongst single men for ignoring messages. We don’t like offending people, so we will try to answer messages where an effort has been made. But as we aren’t looking to meet privately, we will answer briefly so as not to lead anyone on.

1) It wasn't in reply to your profile it was in reply to your post!
2) Should it not be 'our' profile? Not 'my', just an observation.
I was saying if someone messages me with a 1 liner profile and 1 public picture then I can not be arsed going out of my way to look any further, so if someone can't be arsed constructing a well defined profile that tells me something about them as a person then neither can I, it is quite simple in my view

I learnt this a couple of years ago.
I used to only write to those whose profile i matched and got one reply, after a few tries at getting a meet i decided it must have been a wind up.
Its just the way it is.
Just send a short message to say hi or a wink, if they are interested in you, they will reply.
Oh by the way this method doesnt work either lol :- |

Sometimes i'll just not be in a chatty mood, but don't like to ignore someone if I've been previously chatting, so i'll reply but maybe not with total enthusiasm.
However if they are the ones that messaged me in the first place, then I kind of expect them to make the effort of starting a conversation, sometimes they need reminding of this! And don't go straight to the "what are you wearing now?" message, after the initial one |

Couples can get so many more... in fact when we have pics in the top 10, we have had over 1000 messages on a 24 hour period.
So that makes it a little more of a challenge to reply no? C x |
