Hi,
We've yet to meet anyone on FAB. Had a couple of meets on SH.
4 seperate times on here we've had a similar dead end experience. Found a couple that we both like, ususally them contacting us 1st. After a few exchanges, sent them pics and they say they like us. We suggest meeting up for a drink. They give us the thumbs up. We give some free dates and then no reply!
We're a bit confused why people would drop out of the conversation at that point. If they didn't like us why say they want to meet?
advice anyone?

I think you've just been unlucky, and sometimes people don't realize that you can't read their minds and don't know why they haven't got in touch.
I can't see anything wrong with you or your profile, so don't give up it'll happen. |

Its a common problem on here, most likely due to many different reasons. You will never know. Best not to take it personally. Thats life! |

The simple fact is, life gets in the way. In the past I've chatted to people, been excited about meeting then work, family, previous meet all come up and the new person "forgotten".
It's not a reflection on you, that's just how it is sometimes, you've just been unlucky and as your new you could think it's 'you'd...it's not.
Don't give up and good luck. |

It's happened to us too so don't take it personally. We prefer to meet for a social drink first too and don't think it puts people off. Those that want to meet us will do so. Good luck on here and don't be disheartened. X |

When I looked at the title of the thread, I though it was gonna be about those gooey sticky things that we used to get at Christmas.
You know the ones, they come in a long oval box and you get a little plastic fork to eat them with. |

patience is the best advice, i have generally found far more really meet here here than over the road, but it can take time...why not remessage them,a friendly hi,if they still dont reply, move on.

Are the people your trying to meet well validated from actual meets?
We find Fab has a lot of fantasists because its a free site compared to the paying sites which i think SH is one of those?
Would also suggest, getting back to them saying (if you dont already).. "any decision on dates yet?" As we find people do need a kick.. as lives tend to get in the way of extra fun, and people do forget to get back to you..
