On the train from Richmond to Islington this morning and a very tasty, slightly older, lady got on at Brondesbury wearing what was clearly a hot wife anklet, albeit very discrete. I didn’t say anything but it left me pondering as to what the etiquette would be to make an introduction. Any thoughts? |

When you say "clearly" a hot wife anklet, do you mean it had "H" & "W"/"hotwife" (or similar) on it or just that it was an anklet? Some women just like an anklet!
In terms of polite and best practice.. act normal and strike up a conversation about it saying something like "hey I noticed your anklet, it's really pretty" |

I've always worn anklets, since I was a teen & long before I knew they had a meaning.
I broke my last one, so my children bought me a new one for Mother's Day, it has the infinity symbol on it.
If someone was to make a comment on it in public, I'd hope they'd be a bit discreet, not "Hey are you a swinger?"  |

Never approach anyone that you recognize as a swinger outside of a swinging environment.
That includes any woman wearing a ankle bracelet .......

Just approach anyone that you believe you have deciphered their interests in the same way that you would anyone else who you have an interest in.
Display of personal status doesn't indicate they are looking for anything, as with profiles on fab. Nor that the fancy a fuck messages, however dressed up, will fall on fertile ground |

Could not agree more.....many many moons ago approached a lady Nd commented on her anklet....was respectful and polite....had a lovely chat. Nothing came of it as we were both heading to work but still a fab experience. |

I wear an anklet it’s because it was my great grandmothers and we were very close, so has a lot of personal meaning, if a twat neck approached me thinking he was getting shag because of it, he’d be sorely disappointed

I think she is the decoy, 27.3% of the women in that carriage would be unable to resist a man smiling at them, and would be humping in the luggage rack 3 seconds after "hello".
So they clubbed together and hired a decoy in an ankle chain in order to avoid arriving at work with smudged makeup.
People are people, if you want to know more talk to them and let them not their clothing or jewellery decide what to tell you. |

I saw a lady today at Studland naturist beach. She was wearing a ring on each finger and from what I could see, on at least one of her toes as well as one ankle bracelet. She was shaven but not wearing any visible genital piercings but how she was laying they could have concealed. I so wanted to speak to her and her husband but bearing in mind Studland is supposedly naturist only I was afraid that any such approach may have been unwelcome. |

I'm sure most are just jewellery, however even if it states slut wife or hotwife.
It still does not mean she will want anyone.
We've played with a few people, so if we met them again we would know full well they are swingers and what they like. But we would never assume that just because they may have fucked us once we could cut out any pleasantries.
Even with the wife a certain amount of consent is polite. Sure we may be more tactile, but it's never going to be a matter of just jumping straight in. |

Two ladies at work have ankle brackets one is a big white lady early 50,s who I believe is in a relationship with another lady the other is a black lady who I believe is single who is late 40's.I may say to them that's a nice bracelet and see how the conversation goes or I may say nothing as they may think I am a complete idiot. |

My daughter bought a necklace from H and M with two female symbols on because she’s gay but I wonder how many women have purchased it not knowing/ realising. So it’s a difficult one to say whether to approach someone as I’m sure that those that but it for the meaning would like people to notice even if it’s just a sly nod when passing. |

I wear an ankle bracelet sometimes, my daughter keeps hers on all the time. They are pieces of jewellery.

Jewellery over the years has had all sorts of meanings, best example of course is a wedding ring. That said, someone wearing a ring on that finger isn’t a legal requirement, so they could be married without one, or not married and wearing one.in some countries the wedding finger differs.
Plain anklet bracelets were typically worn by hookers years ago to indicate they were escorts(often when women would be at posh do’s - so could differentiate them from equally well dressed women) but a Deighty called BAAL said all hookers should wear them. Nowadays some suggest any anklet bracelet suggests HotWife(as most hookers are recognisable by the needle puncture holes on arms or are high class and use the internet lol)
