My problem is, when I'm wet, it's as if all the moisture in my body goes directly to my vag, and when we're in the act, my mouth gets really dry and I start feeling dehydrated. It kind of ruins the mood to stop mid-thrust and have to get a drink of water. I drink a lot of water normally, without alcohol.
I know thirst can be one of the signs of diabetes and I will get this checked out but I have had this for many years and particularly since my hysterectomy. I'm wondering if anyone can recommend any products, drinks or sweets that would help?

I think most people get thirsty when enjoing a session, I guess you might need a drinks bottle handy one with a straw so you or he don’t need to stop mid stroke  |

Was it I read or did I see it on telly that the best way to stay hydrated is... to stay hydrated. If you drink a pint of water per hour you reduce the instances of feeling thirsty. Spreading the intake is best so have a couple of mouthfuls of water every 10 minutes even when not "exercising" rather than gulping a pint in few minutes is best. |

Thanks folks and I do have a sports bottle which I use but it's not the sexiest thing. Needs must though Rocket did suggest a bowl of icecubes on hand and as someone else said, that might be a nice icy trickle... Xx |

We have a bit of fun in our profile around the use of Tropicana . It is actually what we use to stay hydrated during sex sessions though.
Sex is basically a form of exercise. One in which you are encouraging your body to, erm, expell more than the usual amount of fluid .
Taking fruit juice periodically is quite a good way to provide both energy and hydration, which in turn can keep you going for a good few hours. |

Dry mouth spray! We swear by it. Boots do an own brand one which isn’t too pricey. It’s only a small bottle so nice and handy to keep on the bedside table or anywhere else for that matter!

This happens to me as well so after careful thought i realised cause. Kissing will be one as well as a lot of heavy breahting through your mouth.
So there is a lot of dry air in your mouth so naturally you will be thirsty. I use a water break as a delay tactic as well . Enjoy your sex stop worrying |

This reminds me of what it's like shagging in my bedroom in the summer. It's an attic room and gets hotter than the inner circle of hell. A good fuck up there requires some planning! Usually a bottle of water in the freezer per person to take upstairs, a bowl of ice cubes (also these work quite well placed in front of the fan). Towels, snacks, defibrillator.. |
