www.dayuse.co.uk

Never anything for the advertised price in my area. It is actually cheaper to book a night, check in is usually from 2pm and they do sometimes let you check in early.

Ive just taken a look at dayuse.

The site appears to rely on the Standard Rate hotel have.

almost no one pays that rate. A hotel i often used has a standard room rate of £248 per night, but i normally got it at £80-105 per night. Ive Never paid anywhere near £150+.

Doing price comparison sites I can get an early checking or a late checkout +overnight for only a little bit more.

Village hotels do a day rate of £39 for 9-5 and you can use the pool area too.

Yes.

Worked perfectly well for us, and the room was good enough to use for a business meeting if I'd needed to....

I’ve used this a few times, it’s really good.

Hmm I wonder what you could have possibly been doing instead

Sounds ideal, although probably best to keep the bikini/bather on at the pool side

Tricky in city centre as they have a fair bit more security. Try the Days Inn by Sainsbury’s just off the flyover
