No it doesn't where they are contacted you before as I have found this out following the age filter, lads in the 20's age group are still sending me messages yet they shouldn't be able to so I posed the question as you did  |

If you have already had some kind of contact with a person then none of the filters work. Its only for people that havent messaged before. You could just manually block these when they come through.

personally I really cant stand the filter system, understand how some abuse it but I do like the odd hello that was funny etc etc mail from someone viia forums..and maybe send likewise... |

Ah I see. I didnt realise that. We do get repeat messages a lot from guys who have already asked and had a polite no thank you but I always felt blocking them a bit harsh. Never mind. Just wondered if perhaps it wasnt working.
Its ok Paddy.... Im getting used to it.  |

Same here and plus sometimes what I want to say may not be appropriate on the forums so it does mean that I was blocked from private messaging the OP, just too old I guess boo hoo  |

I love the filters. I get usually less than 10 messages regarding meets now and i know the ones that message me fit the basic criteria. Before i set the filters i would probley get around 50 a day off which 99% didnt fit my wants or needs.

technically is it a block..therefore u cant really ask to mail someone via a forum issue???-
again I'm just stating my opinion that filters dont really do well for a 'social' group of people who dont ALWAYS need to have sexual communication...
we start going down the road of blocking age,gender,race,heigh,eye colour, blahhh blahhh etc etc.. we get a more boring group of people
yes sex is always in my agenda with most however- but having the odd laugh with somone outside ur 'range' can be pretty good

This is why i dont have single men blocked...it takes 5 seconds to read and then block some idiot who hasnt read my profile,but the smiles some pms have caused last for days |

I would agree with your last comment but only on the forums or if I initiate it, just not interested in meeting anyone outside my age preference |
