Hi,

I was wondering if anyone could recommend any hotels in the Southampton/Bournemouth area where we can invite a few friends up to our room and won't have any problems them coming up...

Try the village hotel in bournemouth

Big commercial hotel which no one will bat an eyelid at people coming and going

I think they have a £35 deal aswell at the moment

Try Travelodge or Premier Inn. I have been to both with a couple with no problems.

Whenever I've been to a premier Inn we've needed a key to go up to room, was planning on giving our guests the room number and they'd find their own way up

salisbury

We have used a few hotels in Bournemouth all with public bars so nobody takes any notice of people coming and going. They include the Royal Bath, Cumberland, Cottonwood, Suncliff

If you rent a hotel room it's yours to invite friends to ....as long as the guests don't sleep the night there shouldn't be an issue .

When you check in you can also say we have two couples coming to our room for pre dinner drinks . A business discussion ..cousin and partner are coming . Were having a game of cards .

Please give them a room key

I don't see an issue ...

Southampton

Have you looked into maybe a serviced apartment or Air bnb instead?

Might be a more discreet option.

However I’ve stayed at the Hilton/Doubletree Southampton and had friends come directly to my room. It’s not the best hotel, the food it atrocious and staff are incompetent but friends can come & go discreetly, just ask for Cat parking passes for them at check in.

Maldon

Go for the Royal Bath. Big hotel and bar / lounge. Loads of history. I had a great night there a few years back.

Started in the lounge with a job interview role play. She dressed for the part and blew me away when she reached in her bag , put on some glasses that she had brought just for effect, unclipped and shook her hair down. We then adjourned to my room.
