Hi everyone
As I still consider myself to still be learning the ropes in the swinging world, just reaching out for some advice.
Have been to a few club events which have been amazing (especially the ones at Club F). Anyway I also wanted to explore with some meets as well, so just wanted some tips on how is best to approach things as I don’t want to come across as crackers when replying to adverts on fabswingers or placing adverts of my own.
If any one has any good tips for someone trying to learn the ropes then I will love you for life! Ha!

If you have been to club events, try talking to people and then swap details and you could meet them outside of the club.
Adverts ? Do you mean the people who post they are looking for meets ? That's one way of finding meets, but not that many people post meet requests.
I think the majority of people contact people they like the look of, send them a pleasant chatty message explaining why they would like to meet. Then hope for a reply. |

Yea that’s what I meant - couldn’t think of the phrase ha!
Thanks for the advice much appreciated, yea when I been to clubs over the summer I was a little reserved and shy so never really talked to anyone so when I go next I will make more of an effort to mingle! |

Evening O.P can recommend having a look on the swinging club/Events tab on the forum. See if any of the events catch your eye or your interest then put your name down to request a spot. Some events have guest lists so can always message someone or couple in advance with courtesy message to say you’re going etc. All the best |
