Looking for some advice where I can buy an extra long black pair of hold ups that are opaque, about 60 denier or above, on the high street, and not for over weight girls. Think tall and slim. Anyone know?

Found that issue dressing up my subs, usual Ones at like knee highs on that, gets even harder at 6"7+ lol. But, never mind I'm not going for looking good with them.
I used to get seamed stockings from an online company, expensive but good quality. I ruined so many pairs I gave up. I don't remember the name though. But online is definitely the way. I went around my town looking for seamed stockings, including a stall that exclusively sells hosiery, mostly nylons. They looked at me like I was bat shit crazy. X |

ASDA sells them. Black 60 denier hold up's, get the large ones. I'm 6'3" and they are great for me.

Amazon Hun. I be got loads thier but I’ve also got some in Asda to that weren’t too bad to be honest. Don’t go for the wet looks ones however on amazon. You really need to see these before you buy them |

"People are mentioning 60 denier, why so thick surely 10 or 15 is better and look much nicer.
Not everyone can shave their legs plus opaque is the fashion right now donchaknow."
I wouldn't be seen dead in a pair thanks, much prefer classic than following some awful trend. |

"Tesco.
I've got 37" legs, they do a M/L size which goes all the way to my bum
When you measure your legs do you measure from the outside or the inside?"
Inside,
From very top of inner thigh to ankle bone x |

I know, I am 6.2 and have 36 inch legs. So I can't imagine anybody under this height having legs that measure 37 inches. |

I'm a smidge over 6'
I used to be 6'3" (spinal injury, compressed vertebrae) but luckily the legs didn't shrink too! |

It was, and still is.
But it's one of those things you get used too, I've developed a very high pain threshold over the years since... Not a bad thing |

"I was hoping to get on high street rather than online, for discretion.
Thanks girls x"
Most Amazon stuff can be delivered to a collection depot. I am rarely in and have a door entry system so have to make other arrangements. |

Boots do nice hold ups, i wear the small ones and i am 5ft9 so the large should be long enough for you x
"I know you want high st but amazon can deliver to one of these pick up points. No need to be delivered to your door. "
That's a very good point i should use those pick up points more. |

Thanks ladies, decided to buy and try the 60 denier M&S XL, which came up to the top of my inside leg with a little stretch sacraficing a bit of the denier, has a thick silicon band rather than smaller bands. They stayed in place a lot better than my ASOS hold ups.
I get most of my stuff delivered to amazon locker, but hardly any elegible hold ups as mostly sold from independent sellers.
Interesting to see the some ebay sellers can deliver to Argos.
Will also have a look at boots.
Thanks again |
