A woe is me post haha...

I thought I'd see if I could get some general insight and thoughts.

I know men outnumber all here and it very much makes it a woman's world, but is it common place to message someone and ignore their reply? Or to say "we'll arrange a meet" and never arrange one?

I've good veris, albeit mainly from one lovely woman in particular, I'm sociable, and always try to be nice, but I'm 5ft 9, I smoke, I think I'm average looking, and I'm not exactly "gym fit"...so I'm wondering and thought if ask the world, is it just that I'm "that bad" or is it just how it is here given the abundance of men to choose from?

It just seems so at odds with the club's I've attended where everyone chats and intermingles so I though I'd get some thoughts.

Hi, thanks for replying, maybe I did. I was just wanting to get people's thoughts as to whether it's me, or it is just so many male profiles.

I have an image in my head that everyone is looking for 6ft 2 and a six pack!

A number of veris off one person always makes me think why not have a couple profile? Especially if there is no mention of a fwb arrangement on the profile. Is it territory marking? Makes me kinda wary.

This. I’d wonder if I was stepping on someone’s toes.

But honestly, it’s more likely just the numbers game on here. A hundred no’s/ignores to every reply and 100 fizzled conversations to every reply that goes somewhere. It’s just how it is.

I’m not looking for a 6ft2 beefcake...but I’m probably not going to turn him down if he messages me and has something between his ears

Never seems to be an issue when women can't accommodate. And I've explained to many who take the time to talk or ask (so few do) that I can accommodate, but I have 3 children who are in my house 50% of the time, so I don't want a stranger in their home, however once I know someone, that's a different issue. Should I be putting all of this on my profile?!

To be honest OP your profile reads well so don't think it's that and you have recent veris which is always a plus.

What I think you're missing is a decent collection of pics - the one public one you have isn't particularly alluring - perhaps consider taking some that show off your body and not your cock. Look around at other guys profiles for inspiration - it's amazing what you can achieve with a phone camera on timer

A shirt sleeve does nothing for me as i can look at those in shops. Also i prefer non smokers of which there are 1000s. As stated clearly on my profile i also prefer tall men so sorry i woukd pass you by.x

If this was the case, you’d simply look at the four or five threads a day that have exactly the same content and look at the replies because the advice never really changes. I think more generally, whilst guys post on here to lift themselves above the thousands of other guys in the hope that someone may take a liking to them in the forum, it’s actually counter productive because I can’t see how anyone would relish meeting someone who comes across as whiny -as someone puts it on here. Although I get it- we all get horny and we sometimes look for an easy fix, but this is why escort agencies and massage parlours exist! I’d hate to be a single guy on here.

If you take that view you can guarantee it - I don't, by any stretch of the imagination, have a great body but it's the body I've got and I choose to present it as you can see from my pics and it's not done me any harm.

Believe it or not people are attracted to all kinds of different things and aren't all looking for a perfect gym toned bod

The bottom line for physically average men is that it is going to be an uphill struggle on here. Theres 17 women for every man and it follows that women can pick and choose the hottest men.

Specifically to you, your issues are you are a smoker and can't accommodate, which puts you behind guys who don't smoke and who can accommodate. Also, your pic is strange. I couldn't make out what it was. Most women will just see that, delete and move on to the next of their 87 messages.

I have said this loads of times, but if you are an average bloke physically but with a decent personality, go to clubs and chat people up. You'll stand out there from the wanking zombies who are terrified of talking to anyone.
