I kinda understand why people don't reply to messages and that's to be taken as a no thanks, sort of.
What I don't get is the fact that someone replies, asks a few questions and THEN doesn't bother replying again....why? |

The conversation isn't going as hoped. Or they've been distracted by someone/something else. Don't take it to heart. Fab is hardcore. |

Sounds like they don't like the answers given. |

Sometimes it's like pulling teeth. Hi - Hi. How are you - good thanks, you? What do you do? I do... how about you? Where do you live? I live...what about you?
And you lose the will to live. It doesn't have have to be long messages, just there has to be some sort of spark and interest there, nothing wild or wacky just something that makes you look forward to reading the next message. |

This is the reason I stop replying. I try my best to engage as it does take two to make a conversation and it's not fair to reply solely on the other person. However, some conversations are so dull I just give up. |

This is true. If messages don't have an interesting and natural flow, it can kill a conversation dead, unfortunately.
