How often do couples contact you?

Just wondering... for couples who are looking for couples, how often do you get an introductory email or wink from a new couple?
For us we hardly ever get couples contacting us. Maybe once a month if we are lucky. Might be age or preferences thing.
We know it’s a hunting site and people will say go and make first contact yourself but if that’s the case surely people might be hunting us too.
Just wondering what the volume of messages people are getting from couples to see if it a daily/weekly/monthly occurrence for you. |

Daily messages. Winks & random friend invites from nowhere is on the increase, a few per day the last two weeks |

You're a similar age to us and we rarely get messages from couples. I think it is an age thing. Basically, once you are over fifty most couples and women will seem you "too old".
It is what it is. Good job we like single men

How many messages conversations do you instigate?
In my experience I message couples all the time with very little reply. The meats I have had always come from when the couple have instigated the conversation. Only just thought about that. That’s a strange statistic. Maybe I should stop sending out messages? |

fairly rarely unless we've posted in a thread that we're going to an event or a club, but then we have relatively fierce filters on. We look for them ourselves because we're pretty specific in our requirements... |

We used to run a club night and regular people we meet still verify us, happy to have loads of veris keeps the judging people from being interested |

Very rarely. I think there's a possible gap in the market for a community focused on couples only. A section of the board here that only verified couples can post to would be great IMO.
That is not to say that we have anything against single males, we absolutely don't (part of our kink is gangbanging and hotwifing). |

No very often off here New that seem genuine or lead anywhere. We get winks or messages but once we start to ask questions the messages stop and/ or we get blocked. We put it down to one of the couples liked what they saw but once shown to other there not interested or it because we can’t meet at a drop of a hat. Most of our couples meets come from club meets |

This for us too.
We typically get one maybe two messages at most a month from couples but we put it down to they don't want me (the male) there as I don't play. |

You're a similar age to us and we rarely get messages from couples. I think it is an age thing. Basically, once you are over fifty most couples and women will seem you "too old".

It may be an age thing but we’re early 50s and you have a large number of people on Fab who are 45 to 55 as far as we can see. It is surprising how few couple contacts seem to go on.
We have also met single guys because if we didn’t we probably would have slim pickings on here in terms of couple meets. It’s fun too on occasions.
Tend to think that more couples are just binning the site and going to clubs. |

Maybe an age thing not sure, it’s certainly slowed for us, I honestly can’t remeber the last meet we had off here. We do ok at clubs and have a good circle of friends maybe that makes a little introverted. We use Fab to see what events are on mainly, clubs seemed to be the way most people meet now a days |

If we opened it up to the number of single men we get then it would be all day everyday for us too. We don’t get the hubby from an actual Fab couple contact us for a meet. Maybe they know that most couples would not accept that type of contact. |

very rare and as said if we do get a message its normally the guy (funny that lol) so it gets deleted anyway as there no real way of knowing whos what and whos who ...I thnk couples meeti_g couples now is very much a club thing |

It comes and goes. But not many, and even fewer that aren't fake, the other side of the country or that aren't wanting to meet instantly!
To be fair though, we do say we're more looking to meet women.
I'd turn it the other way round - how many messages do we send to couples, and how many get replies? Given that we're quite selective in who we message because of what we're looking for, I think we do quite well.
So perhaps that's a little challenge for someone who says they don't get many - send, say, 3 messages a day, for a week, and report back x |

We get completely fresh contact from couples, by winks or message, maybe two or three times a week. We tend to be more proactive though!
When we have it opened up to single guys, its many hundreds a day, though they are mostly just "hi".. |

and 55 is not old for swinging lol we've been swinging for 19 years now and the 50s and 60s has always been the main age group for swinging yes the youngsters are catching up but still along way to go ...and agree with what some one else said the best way to meet a couple is at a club its so much easier we use fab for singles.  |

We send winks when we come across a nice couple locally to gauge interest but like the 3 a day challenge. We reckon we’ve seen many of the local couples or they’ve seen us online but once you’ve been on the site for a while the messages dry up.
Maybe we should move to a new area ! lol

We maybe get 1 or 2 messages and the odd wink a week or so. Because of work etc we cant instantly reply. We always wink first, if we get a wink back then we will send a message.
Like other posters, we have only had 2 meets of this website and think that its way better just to go to a club. That way there is no expectation from anyone and have lots of people to check out before you approach them or they approach you

Not very often. Especially since we added filters to stop non photo verified couples.
In all honesty though, rather wait months for one ‘good’ couple than meet lots of..... not so good ones lol |

Pretty much the same unless we post a new pic then we get a few all at once but mostly it’s single guys. |

It's difficult to find couples where there's mutual attraction though. This especially applies when all four are straight. One of us might point out a profile that we find attractive but the other will say no. |

We get about 6 messages a week from new couples that we haven't contacted before, and about 3-4 winks a day from couples, we do like a perv though so we're probably popping up on everybody's "looked at me" page , we like to fab pics too and that sometimes results in someone sending a thankyou message , probably as low as 3% that end up developing into meets though, its much less hassle just to go to a club and see who's there |

I used to get quite a few but got the feeling it was usually the fella using it for wank material.
Since I put on my profile I’ll only meet for a social in a club I’ve only had a few messages but at least most end up going somewhere |

It depends on what we are up to via the site.
If we are just bumbling along, not up to much, then I'd guess we get an average of about a message every two days, although that could be from friends or new people.
If we are posting in the forums a lot, and more especially if Jayne goes on her profile and is active, then its more, sometimes a lot more.
And then, if we are actively looking for a meet, as in posting that we will be at a club, party or other event, then it can go up to half a dozen a day. |

Regularly, but 9 times out of 10 they haven't read our preferences on our profile so it doesn't lead to anything.
Very rare to find a couple we're both happy to meet.....it's normally the male messaging and oftentimes their approach is woeful. E.g. A message this evening went along the lines of "you're hot, we want you"  |

We do chase couples.
We usually start with a wink to the ones we find attractive then wait for a wink back. Thought that was the purpose of winks before taking it forward to messages. |

We don't really get contacted as well. If we do it's normally by "couples" miles and miles away saying that they want to meet for a coffee. Or we get the male half of a couple saying she is bed and wants fun |

Very rarely, our filters are super tight and we aren’t looking for single females. Not had a message since xmas, we use fab for mainly party invites and to keep up with friends x |

Just us by as there’s very little to go on from most profiles and very few pics we don’t tend to respond to winks we much prefer a message with a clear face pic attached so we know who we are chatting to and we’d know if we were attracted to the people. |

Likewise for us ..we do have a couple of couples we chat to unfortunately our timings are never right to meet but very rarely do new couples contact us .x storm x |
