I have been invited to my first party where I am reliably informed there will be mostly couples with maybe one or two single women. Can someone please advise me if there is a “correct” etiquette for such events as a single guy as I don’t want to appear a complete wally. |

Chat, be friendly, be respectful of the venue and the hosts. Find out what the other guests are looking for and see if you fit the bill. If so, make your pitch and see how you get on.
Presumably if you've been invited then the hosts will know that there will be other guests who may find you appealing. Just relax and enjoy yourself |

From personal experience as a single lady at a party; never assume permission to touch is a night-long privilege.
Many a nice party has been marred by inappropriately proprietorial grabbing, later in the evening.
Other than that, just be courteous and friendly.
Enjoy! |
